Hold off his career? his last delay cost him almost 6 months because his team nickle and dimed Jacobs and he missed his OWN Dec date fight had to be pushed to march. Nothing to do with canelo. Now his so called expo June date blowing up and the fight either won't happen at all or at a later date it keeps moving back just like Jacobs situtation. None of these delays have a thing to do with canelo. K2 is just a bunch of amateurs. Just take canelo offer and stop screwing around with fake kaza phuk stan money. Canelo money is real now there is no possibility of squeezing this fight in before sept and that has nothing to do with canelo.

Im fine with this if it's true. Take the wbo belt from Saunders,and have a monopoly at middleweight. If Canelo wants a belt,he has to fight GGG,or drain himself to make 154 again.

Golovkin has stated that his goal to have all of the belts. Good for him for going out and trying to achieve his goal.

Golovkin wasn't happy with his activity in 2016 and is definitely putting the pressure on his team to make sure they no longer wait for anyone.

I actually do believe the canelo fight will happen this year. Maybe still in September. Who knows if this July thing is true yet.

I guess it has to do with Mayweather-Mcgregor fight being promoted and taking all the attention from GGG-Canelo.

If K2 & GGG wait on Oscar to not f#ck them & he does like last time they look like the biggest dummies in the world of boxing. And everything is pointing to Oscar looking for any reason he can to not make this fight & sh^t rightfully so on his end. GBP can throw Canelo in with bs opponents & sell 2x the PPV's (probably 4x+ with this Chavez fight) & do nearly 2x the gate then when GGG fights his best opponents. Why take the risk when GBP has nothing else to offer yet at the world class level of the sport with his roster?

So I disagree as a fan with whats going on, but I understand the move from a business point of view.

But you know if Mayweather vs McGregor does happen & it happens in September that means Canelo won't be fighting in September so it'll give us all a chance to complain later in the year when this fight doesn't happen in November either lol.

Schaefer (who hates Oscar by the way) said it perfectly if GGG just wants to fight Saunders then just come out and say that. But it's becoming clearer and clearer if he takes this fight he doesn't want to fight canelo in sept. And it won't be because of canelo if he signs another fight BEFORE Chavez fight that completely takes him out if the running for a sept fight. So go ahead fight Saunders or whatever other bum you want just don't try and paint it as everyone is ducking you. Had an offer on the table for 15m and passed on it and now a July 17 fight that takes him completely out the running for any fight in Sept. Lasr sept crying about wanting 4 fights in 2017 which won't happened because of negotiation stalls by K2 with Jacobs and now Saunders. Nothing to do with canelo if you have only 1 fight deep into july.

Stop blaming canelo because your joke show promoter can't make a big fight to save their lives not with anyone but canelo especially. This fight was supposed to be a layup and done deal long before Jacobs fight. You knew about this ****** expo in kaza phuk stan for what over a year? And still can't close the deal.
