Don't you guys get tired of trotting out the same exact arguments time and again trying to convince someone who isn't listening and trotting out their same stale comments? A-Sides and B-Sides, calling fighters cowards or bums?

Neither side is blameless for this fight not happening and both sides are trying to maximize leverage and pay. Frustrating as hell but also pretty damn obvious. As for the prospective fight this article is about, I think that Lemiuex would have a tough day against Canelo and the matchup favors the Mexican fighter (which is why Golden Boy seems to be pushing it hard as an alternative), the French Canadian's one punch power add the element of drama and intrigue to sell the fight.

Of course if Chavez is a close fight there is a risk of a rematch. This is boxing thats part of the game. Sucks being the B side having to wait and see but that's GGG position. Waiting is what a B side does. So it's smart for GGG to cut off his own nose to spite his face? Say screw waiting for Chavez to end and take himself off the board for Sept costing himself countless millions and a chance to land the big fight he's been begging for over half a decade? For any body that knows anything about boxing , knows this fight is not happening. For starters Canelo has not faced a legitimate middleweight yet, they are not about to throw him in there with the hardest puncher in the division, its not happening. This would derail any chances of a big money fight with GGG.
If Canelo doesn't fight GGG next , look for him to keep fighting tomato cans or smaller fighters to keep his image clean.
Thats why boxing is in decline , its a business and a beauty pageant , where the best or perceived best dont fight anyone that poses a threat

If no GGG in September assuming Canelo beats Chavez Jr. Lemeiux would be by far the number one alternative.

Lemieux is a Top 3 Middleweight in the division, has probably best pure power in the division, and it would be a big test for Canelo.

Us fans should not hate on this fight if there's no GGG fight.
