I know guys like Manny should be held to higher standards, rightfully so, but since the Marquez KO Manny has fought Rios, Tim Bradley twice, Floyd Mayweather, Algieri, and Vargas. Floyd was rated the best P4P fighter in the world, Tim Bradley was in the top ten P4P, Algieri and Vargas both held the WBO belts of the LWW & WW divisions respectively, and even f**king Rios was a top 10 divisional contender.

It's amazing to me that Manny gets bashed for fighting these guys -- for 98% of boxers out there any one of these guys would be their best career wins, but for Manny Pacquiao they're a string of "soft" opponents.

Really that's just a testament to how great the guy was/is then IMO.

meanwhile P4Pers like Terence Crawford feast away on opposition like John Molina, Hank Lundy, and Dierry John and nobody says a word. Oh, and he's fighting Felix Diaz next, which was largely well received by those here, yet Diaz is actually rated five spots behind Horn, lmao.

Terrance Crawford fights at 140 and is considered the number 1 fighter in his divison. He is at the top taking on all challengers. And is one fight away from being undisputed in his weight class.

Name somebody at 140 who you wanna see him fight. You probably can't because Crawford is the top dog there.

But we can name a guy for manny right off the top of our head. Keith Thurman for 3/4 of the welterweight titles.

Manny want horn doe. A guy who has never fought on American television is the guy that a legend chooses when his division is loaded.

Keep supporting bull**** fights. And hating on guys who are conquering there divison. Burns vs indongo winner is next for crawford after diaz. as he looks to become undisputed while he waits on pacquiao to stop ducking.

        $20 million right?

Rios was coming off a loss at a lower weight class
Algeiri was coming off of a controversial decision against provodnikov. And algeiri had never been heard of before that provo fight but he gets pacquiao
jessie vargas won a vacant belt that mayweather vacated. He didn't beat a champion for it.

All 3 of those were **** fights and the ppv numbers prove it.

Crawford is one of my favorite fighters... in fact he's..in my top 3 right now...but this guy walks around 15-20 lbs more than his fighting weight right... and rehydrate to 153-155 lb fight night. He should be at 147. Ok...fine. Let him unify...but after that..no excuse. He needs to go to 147.

Pac is.a rare fighter who is said to actually gain weight to make 147. He's also 38 freaking years old.

Pac can do whatever the #$@# to he wants to at this stage of his career. He's not a full time boxer anymore. He's a senator . lol. 2 fights left..maybe 3.

So criticize Porter for fighting Berto now,and for the record I'm picking Berto in that fight

All this talk about these welters... Brook, Spence Jr...blah blah...
Big welters who have to cut down big amounts of weight to fight at 147. Yea, they can make the weight, fine.

Pac has been fighting at 147 since 2008. ..With his height/reach/weight into account... he really should be a 140lber really.

..I believe the last couple of fights... he's been weighing in at 145lbs and not the full 147 limit.

Who gives a crap about Berto? Probably... probably... a..doesn't even matter.. He''ll never be a top 5 welterweight again.

But yea... who gives a crap about Horn..no one. I'll await my judgment.... on how they plan on promoting this fight. If it's on regular HBO/Showtime or reduced PPV...then fine.

Floyd-Berto....was a bs fight..which they marketed as a PPV. Floyd's last fight? ...just like the pattern of his WHOLE 140-147 career.... strategically picking opponents.

Horn is rated in the top 15 of his division (#14). For reference, a guy like Broner, is only rated 3 spots ahead of Jeff Horn at #11.

Why should Manny fight 140 fighter Crawford instead of strong welterweight? Pacquiao is welterweight now. I expect him to fight ww opposition. So Horn is O.k.
