Pac-Horn might be one of the worst matches made in recent memory. Golovkin-Wade being another that comes to mind.

Salka was literally rated in the 70's of his division when Danny fought him

Horn is rated in the top 15 of his division (#14). For reference, a guy like Broner, is only rated 3 spots ahead of Jeff Horn at #11.

Its way worse, Garcia is not Manny Pacquiao, this would never be accepted of Floyd the forums would be going crazy if Floyd chose Horn to fight, and rightfully so, Legends on their game should not fight guys the level of Horn.

floyd just fought berto. berto is ranked 13 by boxrec. horn 14th and im sure berto was ranked much lower before his latest win over ortiz which boosted him after the floyd loss. oh wait berto is a name we know therefore its a good fight? both fights suck. they should retire but too much money to be stolen i mean made.

While I most definitely agree that a guy like Pacquiao should NEVER, under any circumstance fight a guy on the level of a Jeff Horn -- it's an embarrassment and honestly Pacquiao should retire than stoop to this level -- but at the time Danny fought Salka, Danny was either at the top or near the top of his division in the rankings, wasn't he?

Like I said I'm by no means defending this farce, but with Danny/Salka there was like a difference of literally 70 ranking spots between the 2. Where as with Pacquiao/Horn the difference is like 13 spots.

Granted these rankings are obviously an inexact, far from perfect science but it's the only tool we have to go by and scenarios like this

Yeah Berto was on the same level of inexcusable. The only difference is that Berto had a more recognizable name. That's it.

And Berto probably knocks Horn out, and it was Floyds last fight, this is just another Manny soft opponent in a string of them, whos next a Kiwi champ.
