Without question Ward is a great champion -- undefeated since puberty. The only problem I have with him is that he comes from the Hector Camacho "punch, grab and maul" school of boxing. The only saving grace Hector had was a theatrical ring entrance that almost made up for his dull fights.

Or, they could pull a Dawson and just concede the weight right off the bat. Yeah, that worked out real good for Chad......

I like GGG, but loffler needs to stfu. I know that this is a business, but a fighter or promoter should NEVER say that ill fight fighter A at 168, but not fighter B. That made him look like a pu $$Y. He should have just stood on the idea that he is, first, collecting all the belts at 160, THEN we'll talk about moving up.

Negotiations will be tough, Ward and Kovalev together sells fewer PPV than Golovkin fighting an unfairly obscure fighter (Jacobs). But Ward demands he gets paid like he's a star, Roc Nation must lose money every fight between him and Cotto.
