Yeah Golovkin could just walk him down. The difference in power between the two fighters is too great. It's like a cruiserweight versus a junior middle.

GGG will cut the ring and walk through Saunders punches to knock him down. The fight would go beyond 7 rounds

BJS hasn't shown all of the attributes and tools necessary to beat GGG. Once the southpaw stance gets figured out, it'll be all down-hill from there.

I think GG will/would look great fighting Saunders.

Saunders is a decent boxer, but the lack of power and stamina is an issue. I think he looks good early before GGG stalks him until he crumbles.

Jacobs power clearly had Golovkin hesitating, even if he never wobbled him, i dont see Saunders being able to replicate that.

That said its a perfectly acceptable fight while waiting for Canelo.

One thing that Saunders does very well when he is still fresh is box and throw punches on the move. That could cause Golovkin issues if he forgets that he needs to cut the ring off and go to the body like he did vs Jacobs.

Better off fighting GGG, Canelo would have only made him come in at 157 or some other ridiculous catch weight, while paying him pittance.

It's really too bad Saunders sat out so long last year and looked **** at the end. If he had stayed active and got the fight with Bursak/N'Dam, then went on to beat Khurtsidze at the end of the year, this fight with Golovkin would have a little more steam behind it.

GGG and his team hold him in little regard. They want to fight him three months after Golovkin just had his toughest fight against Jacobs and another three months before a potential fight with Canelo.

Saunders is basically being used as a stay busy tune-up fight. The guy is a legit world champion and beat everyone man he's ever faced. The amount of disrespect he's getting is disgusting!!!

Saunders will shock the world and KO lil G and then destroy Canelo in front of his fans. He'll go on to turn Jacobs' chin to glass again and move up straight to 175 and beat up Ward like Hopkins did Tarver.

Billie Jean Saunders, future p4p #1.

But now I'm getting the vibe that Saunders understands that despite the fact that Canelo will be a greater overall Revenue generator... Canelo isn't likely sharing very much of that big piece of pie...

Fighting GGG in a smaller overall revenue generating fight, but might still give Saunders more money because the Golden Boy low balls everyone he can...
Therefore a fight with GGG offers more **** of the bucks and the added bonus of potentially becoming the Undisputed middleweight champion of the world holding All 4 major belts, should Saunders pull off the very unlikely upset...

More money and potentially all 4 belts Trumps a low-ball offer vs Canelo despite having a notably larger audience...

That's my spin as to why Saunders is choosing to fight Triple G over Canelo, it's the only thing that makes the most sense...
??? Cotto made like over $50,000,000 fighting Canelo. Khan and Chavez are both getting over $10,000,000. Now look at GGG. Jacobs is the highest paid opponent ever for a GGG fight. And that was like $1.7 million. GGG has only paid 2 guys decent money. Jacobs and Lemuix 1.5 million. He offered Saunders $1.5 million but he turned it down. Brook doesn't count because his promotor paid GGG.
