Who gets more butts into the seats... Ward or Kovalev? This isn't about 'drivers seat'. This is about a fighter who is obviously chicken to fight Kovalev. He's no big draw. Draw = big money. If Kovalev is the one that get butts in the seats then why does he need Ward? Go fight somebody else. Stevenson, Fonfara, Beterbiev, and the list goes on and on. If the terms were agreed to and its ironclad then they'll fight. Obviously Ward don't give a damn about a mega check so we're back to square one. Negotiate in a professional manner or stfu.

Face it friend, your idol is chicken, and when the dust clears will be stripped and Kovalev will likely fight Beiterbev for the vacant belts. As in FIGHT. A real actual fight. Not pompous stalling. There's no goose hanging 'round ready to lay a golden egg at Ward's demands. He agreed to terms, and his honor is at stake here. And believe me, wherever he goes after retiring, there will be people taunting him over his chicken move.

Well there you have it. Ward will retire as a "chicken", Kovalev will fight Beterbiev, and life goes on. On the hand, if the rematch goes through (more than likely it will).
