Gee....why on earth would anyone think that.
Comments Thread For: Kovalev's Trainer Has Doubts That Ward Wants The Rematch

My ashy, greasy friend - Ward SIGNED A REMATCH CLAUSE in the contract.Am tired of hearing Kovalev and his fans continue to cry like bit!che$. Dude needs to be humble and ask for the rematch respectfully and with offering of a incentive. He can't being crying and demanding anything. Kovalev was talking about how he was going to destroy and knock Ward out only to end up being shy about it when in the ring. You had you chance and you couldnt put away a guy coming from a lower weight to challenge you. Even with a good head start with a knock down you still couldn't put away the smaller man. For Kovalev and his fan base

That's your word right there. that's your word, your balls, respect, and integrity as a man.
So Kovalev doesn't have to "ask" for anything. He already agreed to a rematch per his signing of the contract for the first fight.
Ward has NO OPTIONS - he can either rematch Kovalev, or retire. His choice.Comment

All these old boxing tactics of having their friends in the industry write disparaging things doesn't move my team. We are focused.

Nobody questions that Ward is driving the car bro. What everyone is wondering is why is Ward high-tailing that white ford bronco as far away from Kovalev as he can. He got a fcking brick on that gas pedal trying to get as far away as possible. Why? Is he scared? Does he know he didn't really win despite what he says? It's been almost 5 months, what's the problem? Why he scared if he's so good? That is what we all wondering. That's what you don't got an answer for.Comment

Nothing like throwing out the word "scared" to get the simpletons stirred up. Nevermind that Kovalev just signed paperwork from RocNation three days ago. Well...I guess it's good money for those who get paid to say dumb stuff in the comments to get more clicks.Nobody questions that Ward is driving the car bro. How could he be scared if they already fought? I'm not as invested in why Ward hasn't signed up for the rematch as you seem to be but I'm sure he has his reasons. The one thing I'm certain of it isn't because he's scared. The point I was trying to make if Kovalev and his team want to negotiate a rematch they're going about it the wrong with the name calling and other tactics. You do realize that boxing is one of the only sports that lack of fear is prerequisite for stepping in the ring. I'm sure Andre Ward didn't fight in the Olympics, fight as a professional, fight Kovalev, and all of sudden decide he's scared to get back in the ring with him.Nobody questions that Ward is driving the car bro.
