Why are you responding to him? Lol. He's trolling you hard as s hit. Everyone knows Canelo is a star in the states not to mention a mega star in Mexico. His argument that people cheered for Canelo was hilarious. Maybe thats the first time he's seen a fight with other people...seeing as that's basically how boxing and crowds have been since the beginning of time. They root for their fighter and make noise even when it seems like they did nothing? What sorcery and blasphemy is that? Lmfao

Well GGG is going to have to bend over to canelo's demands then.

          calling bull****, but what's new

The PPV isn't even 10 days old, yet Tom Loeffler already has a top-line number to point to? The initial satellite numbers, according to the usual PPV precedent that's been the case for the last decade, aren't due until Tuesday, lol.

You are right, I do wonder if he is real boxing fan? or just a causal and just started watching GGG's KOs against C level fighters.

and now that GGG arguably lost against Jacobs, he feels that everything that was talked about GGG is lie. anyway, I'm done.

No way. I was talking to Oscar yesterday and he told me that by early estimates and talk, Canelo vs Chavez is expecting 9 million PPV buys, with much of the interest coming from China, who are huge Canelo fans. He is expecting 5 billion in total revenue.

Damn, GGG sold more than Andre Ward in the U.S., even though Ward had a higher profile opponent. And GGG sells in 100 other countries which Ward does not. If they ever fight, GGG is a huge A-side in those negotiations. For a Khazak to outsell an American gold medalist in America, with a lesser known opponent to boot... just wow. Very impressive.

to be fair, Lemieux was more well-known than Jacobs, and that PPV happened during a healthier PPV climate..... and yet they sold more PPV's with the less-known Jacobs, in a more-difficult PPV climate

                      Golovkin's stock must be climbing

but not enough for any real leverage with Canelo

let's face it, Golovkin is likely worth 20% to Canelo based on head-to-head sales..... they should take that 15mil, or whatever they are offered..... even 10mil + a percentage over a certain amount of buys seems like a great deal in hindsight
