I also feel like GGG for whatever reason thinks he can call shots with a bigger star in Canelo. GGG's side knows the business of boxing. They know Canelo is the A-side. They know they're gonna have to play ball to get the fight. So by them not being willing to play ball. It makes me wonder if they genuinely want the fight as much as they say they do. Because GGG isn't nearly as big a favorite over Canelo as his fans think he is.

no matter how much someone wants something, there are limits to how much crap someone will tolerate before they just say "piss off".

not a single word GBP/Canelo says can be trusted, and Loeffler would have to be a complete chump to fall for it yet again and pass on the opportunity to fight Saunders in June.

"We want the GGG fight!!!!" (fights Khan instead)

"We want the GGG fight!!!!" (fights Smith instead)

"We want the GGG fight!!!!" (fights Chavez instead)

    see a distinct pattern there???

GPB are utterly pathetic, they're not even trying to hide the fact that they don't want Canelo anywhere near Golovkin.

They want ginger boy to have a belt. Cant have the cash cow walking around beltless like a bum. If GGG takes saunders belt that leaves canelo with no belts and his only chance to get a belt would be to fight GGG or go back to 154 and drain himself.

What has the GGG side done to make the Canelo fight happen? They're the B-side. They know they're the B-side. But they show no willingness to budge. GGG supposedly can make 154 easily. Why not call Canelo's bluff on the 155 catchweight? GGG isn't a PPV draw. Why ask for PPV upside with a guarantee that much bigger than anything he's ever earned? They're supposedly in negotiations with GBP right now. If Oscar says fighting in June kills the Sept fight with Canelo. Say fine. And if the Canelo thing falls through, Saunders will still be there. So will a Jacobs rematch. Fighting Saunders in June isn't more important than fighting Canelo in Sept. So treat it as the priority.

Dude they were clearly happy with getting 25% when they were the mandatory, problem with that is the Oscar and Canelo said no to any cut beyond a flat fee.

its pointless to try and explain it to you, because its obvious you only process information the way a thirsty female does. For you the "lesser" market value fighter must immediately bow down and accept whatever deal the "a-side doe" fighter wants.

But some people are actually MEN, with pride and dignity, and dont simply bend over and spread their cheeks the second someone flashes a few pieces of silver at them.

Its probably too soon to see if GGG truly falls into that catagory, but at the moment I like what I see. Him going ahead and fighting Saunders in June and telling Oscar to kick rocks would be confirmation.......

This is such a recent phenomenon - A side dictating everything. How many fights did Sugar Ray Leonard not take betweem 147-160 because he was the A side, fighting Benitez, Duran 3x, Hearns 2x and Hagler. Even de la Hoya himself - he was the "A side" but still was somehow able to make fights with Chavez Jr. 2x, Quartey, Whitaker, Trinidad, Mosely 2x, Bhop, Mayweather and Pacquiao - that's a resume!

why should the fight be at 155??? Canelo is fighting at 164 in his next fight, but 160 is too heavy? cmon, really???

Clearly, Golden Boy is just looking for yet another excuse; if you don't see that, you're blind

                **edit**
and it should also be clear, Canelo is no Sugar Ray, or even de la Hoya

Good for GGG. He's too manly to do what pretty much every fighter in recent memory has done when it comes to getting a fight with a bigger star.

                    Lol...

First they wanted to get him to age and slow down but now they are threatening so that they can keep him inactive too?

                    GBP and Canelo are pathetic.

"pride" and "self respect" are obviously traits you are unfamiliar with, because your immediate reaction is "SUBMIT SUBMIT SUBMIT!!!!!"
