****** statement, GGG vs Saunders in HBO World Championship Boxing with a huge promotion probably will get a 1million+ viewership and will contribute to add more possible ppv buyers for a Canelo vs GGG in Sept.

Plus they don't need a huge promotion, Canelo vs Chavez in May and GGG vs Saunders in June are enough promotion to hype up the Sep. fight.

****** DLH i can't support this **** because I want that fight for Sep.

Having 4 world titles on the line for the unified, undisputed MW championship of the world would do more to maximise the event than any amount of hot air from Oscar and Tom!

Boxing fans have been waiting for this fight and talking about it for 2 years now. It doesn't need maximising or marinating .. it sells itself.

There is however an agreement between the sanctioning bodies regarding who goes first when there are multiple mandos due at the same time, which was why there was no issue with him fighting Jacobs, as it was the WBAs turn. Saunders in June would be a unification, so obviously that trumps the mando. After that I suspect GGG would have to either make some kind of step aside deal with Johnson (IBF rules are somewhat vague on this) or vacate the IBF title if he aims to fight Canelo in Sept.

        I stand corrected.

If I'm Golden Boy, let Golovkin take as many fights as he wants between now and September.

Less time for him to rest and recover. At 35, all that roadwork/sparring adds up.

If BJS actually shows up he might even give him a tough fight.

They clearly are. But I don't feel any sympathy for GGG, because he played the same games when the risk/reward wasn't worth it. I also feel like GGG for whatever reason thinks he can call shots with a bigger star in Canelo. GGG's side knows the business of boxing. They know Canelo is the A-side. They know they're gonna have to play ball to get the fight. So by them not being willing to play ball. It makes me wonder if they genuinely want the fight as much as they say they do. Because GGG isn't nearly as big a favorite over Canelo as his fans think he is.
You seem to be more interested in men bending over for other men than in watching them stand up and fight.

              What is fishnets rambling about?

The only thing that's going to prevent this fight from happening in September is If McGregor vs. Mayweather gets signed. If it does, then say goodbye to your September date.

Since McGregor vs. Mayweather is likely to get signed any day now, it makes sense for Golovkin to fight in June. I don't know why he all of a sudden cares about the fight date when they haven't even begun negotiating.

They're supposedly in negotiations with GBP right now. If Oscar says fighting in June kills the Sept fight with Canelo. Say fine. And if the Canelo thing falls through, Saunders will still be there. So will a Jacobs rematch. Fighting Saunders in June isn't more important than fighting Canelo in Sept. So treat it as the priority.
Nobody is falling for your crap. Fighting Canelo COULD BE the bigger priority than Saunders, if this was real possibility rather than the carrot on the dingle. GBP (and yours) wish at this point is to avoid all the belts concentrating in GGGs hands. Nothing more. The presumed Canelo-GGG fight in September 2017 was never in the plans for GBP.
Once Oscar spelled out the possibility of Chavez rematch, it became clear as day.

Oscar putting up roadblocks as usual. And Canelo cheerleaders still defend him. It boggles the mind.

What's it gonna take to get this guy in the ring with Golovkin?

I think the plan was for GGG to fight 4 times this year. If the Golden Prick pulls the Canelo fight because he doesn't want to risk Canelo then we need to see a Jacobs rematch this year. Otherwise, GGG would have had an amazing first 6 months followed by

Does anyone give a **** about a Saunders fight?

Golovkin has a winning lottery ticket, he just has to cash it in September
