Saunders won't fight Lemieux. Saunders didn't fight even Khurtsidze. Canelo won't fight too, because Lemieux is very dangerous. Canelo will fight someone like Rosado after beating Chavez jr. Or he will continue to drain 168 boxers down to 164.

If Lemieux beats Jacobs or Eubank jr then he will probably get GGG rematch. If he continues fighting boxers like Glen Tapia, then for me Lemieux is not interesting anymore.

Canelo is one of the finest boxers ever. He's in a rare class. Yes, he's messing around with the weights but that says nothing about his skills---boxing is a business and you make your moves based on business decisions.

I don't mind when fighters don't fight the popular choice---Floyd wouldn't have created Floyd if he fought every frickin' bruiser that came his way. I've been following David Lemieux for several years; he's always been one of my favourite boxers. I love his come forward style---like a throwback to the 50's. Always knew he was a high quality fighter---he just isn't at the same level as Canelo and won't come close to beating Canelo. There are the Canelos, the Floyd's, the Pac's, and they all live, or have lived, in a totally different sphere than the 20 or so great boxers below them.

Disrespecting Pac and Floyd like that , doest make you much one of their fans.
Canelo , by any stretch of the imagination is far from an elite boxer.
He might be popular but thats totally different.

Why do boxing fans use these disrespectful term?? Both of those guys are warriors, GGG just happens to be a better one. Would you be happier as a fan if Lemieux held the IBF title hostage and went the Stevenson or Saunders route?

Jacobs or Canelo would be awesome for David... Saunders, not so much besides the easy belt ... Saunders won't take that risky bet though...

Lemiuex may not be the savviest of boxers but his power and aggression are always a potential game changer and will affect how opponents face him. Canelo, as well as most of the other potential opponents mentioned, are superior technicians but how do they cope with that power? I'd love to see him fight any of these guys: Canelo, Saunders, Jacobs, Eubank or Charlo.
