There is an element of paternalism on the Eastern seaboard one does not see in the deep south... I was blessed (being sarcastic lol) with being a New Yorker who lived many years, as I live now in Baltimore and marrying a Cajun girl from the swamps of Southern Louisiana. Two very different cultures! and Baltimore is run by the Catholic church and at the very top a minority of wealthy, usually white families that sort of dictate who gets the scraps, and the city belongs to the Black Burcracy.
Africa is what we say. To a person in Africa their particular culture is how they relate, of which the African continent has many...I guarantee that a Tutsu does not see a Hutsu as a brother from a different father! lol. Skin color is really visual, our genes tell a different story. There are scandinavians who have more in common with dark individuals genetically than other dark individuals...thats a fact.
