cut it out man.. you know damn well had GGG/Jacobs done 800K buys you would've been happy as a mofo and making threads about why GBP needs to pay him more than $15 million.
PPV numbers basically tell you the drawing power of the headliners. how much crossover appeal they have. these numbers are then thrown around in negotiations to justify purse split.
I dont celebrate when PPVs flop like many on here because I know it wasn't the quality of the match. it's just a lack of crossover star power.
but don't be pretending you don't care now just because GGG had poor numbers.

This is another "leave Gennady alone" thread. I've seen a lot of these desperate attempts to insult the fans taking the piss out of Golovturds the last few days.

these stans need every little bit of data to prove that their guy is superior/the other guy is inferior
why care about what's going into the other man's pocket aside from the context of fights being made or not

I agree that folks are too obsessed with PPV numbers etc.
But realistically, GGG IS NOT a big draw, at least not in comparison to Canelo.
I want the fight to happen, and I hope both dudes are well paid. The reality may be that Team GGG will need to take short $$$ to make the fight happen. Canelo has more leverage, especially if the rumors about this past weekend are true.
And if Canelo v. Jr does well, which it may.
But Im not on any of their teams and I will never see that money. I just want the fight to happen.
I mean Im probably what you would call a "Canelo hater" and generally a GGG fan, but I just want to see a good fight.
I also want to see all this 155 lb. lineal Middleweight champion BS to end and to have a full MW get a shot at the "lineal title". I mean, it could be Jacobs instead of GGG and Id be happy.
Its been since April 2013, FOUR freaking years, since a dude over 157 lbs has gotten a shot at "the lineal title". That's BS.
