Why are fans so obsessed with PPV sales and attendance figures?

Not this fan. I thought the only people who cared about them were the people who made or lost money due to the PFV sales. Then I joined this forum and noticed just how important PFV sales were to some members. Why? I still don't know the reason why.

Fake fans always root for box office failures. Even when #1 & #2 fighters in the division are fighting. Even when they saw the fight as competitive as it was. Even when one of their own is in the fight.

It has to fail, according to fake fans.

I just stopped doing threads like that cause nobody wants to talk about it. When I make a thread about.....OTHER FANS....it gets hundreds of replies. And usually when I do those threads I'm just trolling because people get so worked up about..... OTHER FANS

So when the PPV number don't fit your agenda, they don't mean shyte. But when they do fit your agenda, like oh say a Ward/g string fight, then you and the other g string ball gagger start screaming about how Ward has no fan base. Can't have it both ways.

It's not fans who are obsessed, it's Mayweather era holdovers. They think PPV sales equate to greatness.

as opposed to those who think bowling over second and third tier fighters = greatness?
