Don't even call yourself a boxing fans if you're rooting for bad numbers! No other fans does this to their sport besides today's SO CALLED "Boxing Fans"
A real boxing fan wouldn't want **** fights on ppv that don't belong!!! Hoping for bad numbers isn't bad at all when you know a fight should be on normal network tv and not ppv. Only a moron would hope for good numbers... then you will keep getting these kinds of fights on ppv.

Only "boxing fans" nowadays would accept a non star fighting a B- class fighter on ppv. No other sport has a platform like boxing there genius... usually the sports you're talking about are on normal network tv.

This weekend was basically worst case scenario not only did he look horrible and many people feel he lost the fight but it totally belly flopped didn't sell out and got bad PPVs. He's getting bent over and ****d in negotiations now. It was laughable hearing GGG a week ago saying he want's 50/50 split or his fans saying he deserves 40% of the revenue. Based on what? Canelo worst PPV did more money then GGG's 2 biggest fights of his career. LMAO

Just like how Canelo's numberd get inflated. I.E., Canelo vs Smith was reported around 220k buys, but Golden Girl says 300k. Or something like that.
        Just like 96k to 150k..

Appalling numbers. There's 90k going to watch AJ vs klitschko live. Is PPV dead in the states?

Yeah, but even to get this match, Jacobs wants to get paid too, so they need to put it on PPV. I rather spend 65 (I spent over 200 I went to MSG) and watch Triple G vs Jacobs than not get the match at all.

For Gawdsakes, Kovalev/Ward did 160,000 and those arguably the two best. So it's you cheapos who are causing boxing to lose popularity

Not really surprising, no fight does alot anymore unless its a really big fight. Didnt ward vs kovalev do around 150k? PPV is dead unless its a megafight.

Rick Glaser: Dave, real number, I think 110,000. But they will put out a huge lying number.

It gets better real number 110k yet GGG couldn't sell out MSG there were thousands of unsold tickets at the time the event started. Gave away who knows how many thousand free tickets. K2 hasn't released the live gate figures what shows how many tickets you actually sold vs how many you comp'd. And the PPV bombed less then Lemieux fight.

Wait I'm confused I thought GGG fangirls been telling me how GGG is a much bigger star now then 2 years ago? I thought there were google pie charts that said so. Somebody put Maxi pad on suicide watch LMAO
