I bet the Canelo deal is very similar to that one. I bet he'll get more than his share of the money on the back end through PPV sales, while GGG gets virtually next to nothing. That's perhaps why his team hasn't accepted the offer at this time.

A promoter wanting the best for his fighter? The hell you say!?! Alert the media, the detective over here just cracked the case!

Golovkin and Pacquiao are two totally different situations. Pac sold out stadiums, had great PPV numbers, had a huge following and crossed over to pop culture icon status at his height. Golovkin is no where near where Manny was at the time Mayweather offered him the flat fee. Golovkin is not in a situation where he can demand things.

Golovkin will get his biggest purse and the "small percentage" PPV from the Canelo fight will be bigger than what he gets from Jacobs.

Stop acting like Golovkin is going to get chump change.

Canelo is the Goose that lays golden tacos for Greedy Oscar

Canelo is Oscar's cash cow. Money rules boxing. Greedy Promoters run boxing which has no leadership or rules. Canelo deserves most of the taco cash for a GGG fight. GGG brings little fan interest as a commie. Have the fight in Mexico and spare the USA. better yet fight in Russia. Oscar can drink sniff or snort away as cash is King for another day.

A lot of people who have never even seen contract are making up things like "Golovkin is demanding 50/50" or "40+ %" when neither him nor his team have discussed terms of the contract lol.

The Mexicans are thick they don't mind paying to see Ginger boy knockout a chinny skinny little welter weight as longs as he beats someone. The difference here is GGG. and Canelo jointly make the fight intriguing and therefore GGG. should get 50% of the pot .Oscar is just a drugged up pissed slim ball who everyone knows evens lies to himself and he really wants no part of ginger being taken to bits by GGG.....Stick to the fishnets DLO they suit you more.....F......slimeball!!!!

I don't know whether Golovkin has signed or not. Yet it's more about the parity and principle of the offer.

Sure, while it's true that GGG hasn't drawn anywhere near as many fans as Canelo and haven't sold out as many stadiums, pay per view sales or arenas around the world as him either; However, at the end of the day, it's all about honor, respect and pride.

Therefore, if Team Golovkin feels like they are being disrespected or not being treated fairly in anyway. They have every right to tell De La Hoya to go to hell, while taking their bat and ball and going home.

I love how all these dudes care about GGG's money more than he does. I'm sure he is doing fine money wise and he's gonna make a **** load of money in Kazakhstan since the whole country will be watching

You say it isn't about the money, yet complain about the offer.

How are they being disrespected? They're in agreement with everything else, the weight the walkout, the venue, why are they pitching a fit about the money? An amount he's never made before and will likely never make in a single fight.
