$15 mil, this fight would gross at least eight times that amount. Therefore, GGG's percentages are going to be very small as compared to Canelo's. Oscar being the business shark that he is knows this but thankfully Golovkin has a team that is looking out for his best business interest. Besides, they all want to get paid too.

the logical approach is that K2 signs now since they already did their part. Would the contracts have changed when Alvarez said back during Liam Smith the particular offers before the Chavez Jr. fight was announced?

WHat comments have K2 made regarding the negotiations? Loeffler seems to always be optimistic with it...in public!

Therefore it's safe to say that the doubt is leaning more towards K2 if they can beat Alvarez. Considering everything now with Jacobs and scoring, do you honestly think Loeffler and Abel feel safe with the judging? Couldn't we say the only way Golovkin beats Alvarez is by KO? In any case, I agree that this fight must happen as soon as possible because GGG is not getting any younger and I didn't' like the way he looked against Daniel Jacobs on Saturday night. I think he still just may have enough to get past Canelo but I don't know. If Ginger lasts the distance and the fight goes to the scorecards he just might lose. However, hopefully we'll get the old bigdramashow back.

Lil G earned $2.5 million against Danny Jacobs and their PPV probably, at most, did 150k. Oh and you can STILL buy seats for that fight since it was never sold out.

Meanwhile Canelo and JCC has been sold out for weeks and will probably clip around ~1 million PPV.

Lil g can take his $15 million or go back to calling out Welterweights since he doesn't want to rematch the guy who just beat him - Danny Jacobs

Canelo/Khan did ~460k PPV buys and the Cotto fight did ~900k PPV buys. The Floyd fight did 2.2million PPV buys and the Smith fight did 250-300k PPV buys.

By the way...even his worst PPV fight (Liam Smith) more than triples lil G's best fight. And Liam Smith was entirely unknown.

If Canelo fought Jacobs there wouldn't of been tickets unsold and we wouldn't be talking about whether it can draw more then 150K PPV buys. That's the difference. Canelo doing big PPV numbers WITHOUT GGG. That's a fact. Take 15m or keep making 2m and fighting on HBO PPV once every 2 years and it doing only 150K buys.
