Canelo had 52k in attendance but sold only 46k, if you look at the maps on ticketmaster the pct of tickets available the day of the fight for ggg was bigger than canelo fight, so i will wait for gate numbers release...

I've never disputed any official live gate from any fight. So shut your mouth while grown folks are talking. K2 released the gate for lemiuex because that fight actually sold tickets. The ticket sales were slow selling for Jacobs with thousands left unsold the day of the fight. They played games with attendance in the wade fight thats proven. Numerous reports that they were giving them away and they refused to release live gate. Don't get emotional if they sold even 17,000 tickets they will release the gate figures. If not its because they don't want media, fans, promoters to know they sold far less.

And berto fight made over 10m off sold tickets. You know why we know that because mayweather released the live gate figures. No telling how many free tickets K2 gave away and how much they actually made off tickets until they release it. They didn't for the wade fight because attendance was bogus they gave away thousands of tickets.

They have NOT released any live fugures. There were thousands of tickets left unsold on ticketmaster at the time of the start of the event when they stopped selling. Also thousands more from resellers. Not including how many comp tickets were already given away. The fight didn't sell out and they started handing out free tickets. We will know exactly how many tickets they actually sold when K2 release the live gate figures which they did in lemiuex fight. If they don't its because like the wade fight they gave tons of free tickets away so K2 refused to release live gate.

There were not thousands of tickets left unsold. Why make that up? It was a near sell out with high ticket prices. Sounds like a success to me.

I was on ticketmaster. There were about 1,300 left the morning of the fight (not including resellers). That isn't "thousands." 20k tickets sold is impressive. I was there and it was packed, the merchandise was selling out, and the lines for drinks were long. It was a success.

Like I said, maybe you should save your narrative for the ppv numbers which may not be as good.
