And besides all that. GGG still beat him. So size difference or not he got the job done.

Also, I've seen Canelo mimic mayweather pull counter. He does it pretty well. it would be an excellent way to get Golovkin to second guess the jab. I feel like canelo should of fought Andy Lee as it would have gave him practice neutralizing the jab. But Chavez of course is a more money generating fight.

What was "Prime Hopkins" at MW? When he KO'd WW-moving-up Trinidad in the 12th? Because before that, he'd already lost twice, drawn once (at 29, to Segundo Mercado) and won dreary decisions over such non-all-time greats as Anibal Miranda, Randy Smith, and Gilbert Baptist.

Hopkins may or may not have won a fight vs. GGG if both were at their best, but in evaluating the relative merits of each fighter it's important to view them through an equally broad context. GGG--to give him his "props"--just got taken to 12 rounds for the first time in his life, at the age of nearly 35, against a larger, younger, and highly motivated opponent who is the #2 or #3 (depending on whether you rate Canelo as a MW) fighter in his division. The last time GGG won a decision was on June 21, 2008--nearly 9 years ago, in an 8-rounder against Algeria Amar Amari.

All great fighters have off nights for one reason or another. "Prime Tyson" barely beat James "Quick" Tillis and struggled early against Tony Tucker. Mayweather arguably lost his first fight against José Luis Castillo. GGG, on his worst night thus far won a 7-5 decision to defend his MW titles for the 18th time.

If Ward is such and elite boxer why did he need few warm-ups to face Kovo after he declined a fight with a 'lowly' middle weight like GGG. The clocked was ticking and Ward muffed his opportunity. To be totally honest with you, I don't think Ward is too big nor too talented to beat a man like Daniel Jacobs. I think DJ is fighting in a weight class too low for his full potencial. Hopefully he will quit th MW division move up and make a name for himself on the SMW/LHW classes. Question,...if you think DJ is such an awesome MW, why aren't you lobbying him to move up and fight in the SMW/LHW divisions. He's an elite fighter right????????
