People who are complaining about Jacobs not doing the second day weigh in are pathetic. This second day weigh in is not a real rule. They just made this up like two seconds ago. And now you got a bunch of internet trolls PRETENDING that they think it is a real rule. Y'all did the same thing when Mayweather didn't make the CATCHWEIGHT before dominating Marquez. Hello people, CATCHWEIGHTS and SECOND DAY WEIGH INS HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE RULES OF THE SPORT.

The second day weigh inn is a rule created by the IBF for title-fights, to make the Sport of boxing more fair by limiting the weight-gain after the weigh-inn. Fighters like Jacobs Need to move up to 168 where they belong.

The IBF is just one sanctioning body. The others don't seem to care. And most fighters don't seem to care too much about the IBF title. Maybe Jacobs does need to move up but this IBF second day weigh in rule is definitely not the reason why.

And where were all these champions of second day weigh ins when rumors of contractual "rehydration clauses" were going around?

Its not a rule with any other organization.

He didn't fight for the IBF title.

He knew the rules that both fighters were expected and contractually obligated to follow. He broke the contract because he deemed it worth more to have a weight advantage rather than a chance to win one of the belts.

But make no god damn mistake about it. If it was Golovkin who did it against someone like Kell Brook or GaBe Rosado and came in 10-15 lbs heavier on purpose, every one of these lowlife trolls would be calling him a cheater and saying he should be suspended for 2 years.

There's no way Jacobs won, though. He neutralized Golovkin from knocking him out, but that doesn't win you championships. He survived and scored points, but Golovkin was comfortable all night and kept Jacobs at bay with his jab.

GGG's jab won him the fight.
                    This quote said it all.

I just watched the two main fights from last night and I thought all the talk would be of RG being robbed (imo...**** it, should be in anyones opinion) but I log in and some people actually think Jacobs won?

I guess the new boxing rule is that if you do better than expect and survive a KD, you automatically win the fight. Some people

I was expecting him to get stopped within 5.
