I sparred with Bobby Harris back in the day. He fought Mike Tyson in the olympic rounds back in amateur since then he never really made it big 20-2-1 his trainers used this kid and put him in with fighters he shouldnt have been in with but he did well. He had some great skill when he started and he was big, only problem is now he's a dumb as a post and drools like crazy from being punch drunk, it's truly sad because he was cool and smart before his management took advantage of him.

where did you get that info? I'm sure your right Bobby was ****ed up, didnt know **** anymore when I was talking and sparring with him. He said he lost to Tyson in the Olympic Trials with a big wadd of drool coming off side of his lower lip. I just took his word for it and wondered why a 127lb person was sparring with a 200lb person. Simple answer though to that was noone else wanted to spar him. I got rocked every shot I took but I still stood there and threw back even though I had to almost leap to hit him it was funny but I learned to keep my hands up and always train throwing high punches.

BOBBY HARRIS DIDNT TURN PRO UNTIL 1992... Tyson went pro in 1984... they never fought each other, believe me. Bobby was a kid when Mike went pro.

I sparred with Ray several times including 2 summers ago when we did ten rounds one day at my gym.... I am a lot bigger of course so I threw a lot of punches like he likes to do and it was fun, like being in a Ray Olivera-Zack Padilla fight LOL

Dude, the shoulder is ****ing ****ED.

Dean's last fight he was fighting the last six rounds with one arm (reminded you of Calzaghe-Ashira) because the shoulder had dislocated, tremendous heart and still got the decision.

Dean's dream is to beat Calzaghe for the world title, but I tell him he's dreamland. He wants to fight Calzaghe if Calzaghe takes Clinton Woods' title. I'd cheer him on, but it'd be a massacre because Dean's sharpness is a shadow of it's former self (although he's a much smarter fighter now and knows how to not waste motion and how to place shots better). He says he's better than ever, though.

In your opinion - would Collins have had a shot with Roy Jones?

It's difficult to see any outcome other than Jones playing with Collins and winning every round, Collins completely changed his boxing style for Eubank onwards (from a cagey counter-puncher who held his hands up into an all-out attacker who relied on his chin) and that change in style suited Jones to a tee. Collins only beat Eubank because Eubank had no stamina, and only beat Benn because he broke Benn's heart (took Benn's shots which made Benn quit twice, but Benn was absolutely shot to pieces anyway). I'm 99.9% sure that Collins would of attacked Jones non-stop, like he did through his super-middle title reign, and I can see Jones countering him to pieces and possibly giving him brain damage. He'd of given Jones a good workout, though.
