Whos to say Jacobs and Golovkin couldn't KO1 Canelo? Canelo is yet to fight someone his own size. Its unlikely, but its unlikely either Golovkin or Jacobs will do to each other unless they come out swinging. Hell, it was unlikely that Jacobs would KO1 Quillin, but he did..

I think its equally unlikely that Canelo wins a legitimate decision simply because Canelo and Golovkin have similar 'boxing' skills, with one having a huge edge in power.

Thinking about it a bit more, Canelo usually has scorecards in his favour. Lara, Trout, Floyd and Cotto all had absurd scorecards. Thats a factor I didn't include before. Worth thinking about actually.

???? Jacobs got DROPPED by pillow fisted Mora!!!! Canelo hits a SHT ton harder than him.

What's up with casual fans thinking power is ALL you need in boxing??? If that was the case Lemuix, Provo., Matty, Maidana would of all been P4P top 10....Powerful headhunters are usally cake walk fights for much better, rounded, GOOD boxers. You can usually see their punches coming a mile away. If power was all you need Floyd Mayweather wouldn't be the best of my generation.

I just don't see how some one as chinny as Jacobs is that big of a threat to Golovkin. Odds don't think he is either. Fan polls don't really think so either.

Canelo-GGG will most likely be closer in terms of how many fans think Canelo is going to win, and how the oddsmakers and experts will see it.

Many of you are speaking of the threat in terms of one dimensional - Power. I'm speaking in terms of who's more of threat to give Golovkin a loss. That Canelo.

If Jacobs had only one dimension, he wouldn't have beaten Quillin, or returned to beat Mora. Theres more to his game than your argument is making out. Same for Golovkin.

Who fans think will win is neither here or there. Fans are influenced by all sorts of things. Fans think welterweight is a stacked division, because they are influenced by name value. Its not quite the case looking closely.

I don't think Canelo is good enough to outbox Golovkin over 12 and win (legitimately). I think its more likely Jacobs could land a bomb and do away with him, albeit not much more likely. If you think different, then thats fine. But as the initial article set to point out, its certainly debatable either way.

Higher ring IQ can make adjustments, set traps, and win more ways, fight at multiple distances. Jacobs has only been past the 8 round once he only wins 1 way. Canelo will outbox and take GGG to deep waters and drown him.
???? canelo has bad stamina and GGG does not

              Quillin man?

Lee drew with Quillin. Rosado gave Quillin a hell of a fight. N'Dam outboxed Quillin when he wasn't getting knocked down.

If 140 pounder Jose Cotto put Canoli on ***** street in the first round of their fight. What would a true middleweight with power do to him ?

I'll say it again, the minute Canoli steps in the ring with a true middleweight he loses.

I'm sorry, I couldn't finish this. Maybe I'm wrong but this writer is vastly overrating Jacobs. Like, weirdly so. Championing Jacobs as "vastly accomplished" is plain inaccurate. Dude has one nice win.

I will proudly eat some crow if Jacobs proves me wrong, but he is just ridiculously overrated because of Quillin, who himself was ridiculous overrated. Let's be real here.

                      Lmfaoo.

                      Peter Quillin
                      Sergio Mora

                      "Vastly accomplished."

Sounds like a huge GGG fan.

Omfg he beat Quillin, he's so ready, even though we called Quillin a bum for years.
