Kovalev beat him the fisrt time and he will beat him again..just get the decision ...you dont win fights by ducking below the waist , grabbing constantly and throwing one punch a round...as i said he should man up and fight kovavlev as per the rematch clause, no one likes a coward methhead

Stop embarrassing yourself with the foolishness. The facts are that Ward lost time due to shoulder surgery and a legal dispute with his promoter. Neither are uncommon in boxing. See Mikey Garcia and numerous other boxers.

So based on your words, Kovalev couldn't beat a rusty Ward. Hmmmmm????

The three official judges saw Ward winning the fight. Unofficial opinions mean absolutely nothing and that's why Ward is the champ.

Punch totals??? Kovalev landed a grand total of 10 more punches in the entire fight but threw 137 more punches than Ward. That suggests that Ward's defense was better and that Ward was the more accurate boxer. Add that to the fact that Ward made it his type of fight also suggests superior ring generalship in Ward's favor. These 3 "little" things are part of the 4 criteria's that judges are evaluating. This was a very close fight, one that could have gone either way.

Ward needs to give him a rematch, he barely won the last fight and you could say he lost it. Now hes walking around talking **** about retiring after barely eeking out a W which wasnt even a clear win. I supported ward prior to the fight but wasnt really impressed with his performance and dont like that he seems to be hesitant to get back in the ring.

He also had some interviews acting like he dominated kovalev.

"Cheated and dirty", you just disqualified yourself from any and all legitimate boxing conversations while incredibly and simultaneously qualified yourself for official fan boy AND hater status.

Newsflash!! Andre Ward has won 31 professional fights without breaking a myriad of rules. Smart boxers know the rules and how to use the rules to their advantage. It's called experience, boxing IQ and ring generalship.

I like Kov and had him winning the fight, but in the rematch Ward will execute the better game plan and come out with the W. Hopefully they don't lag on the rematch I'm sick of boxing politics
