It's time for Ward to stop acting like an entitled 5 year old. The sport won't cease functioning because Ward wants to hide in a crib for 2 years over a hurt ego.

Sure, I'd love to see a rematch but I don't think Kovalev should end up paying Ward for the privledge of fighting him in his own backyard with his family members as judges all for the sake of placating Ward and his fragile ego. Especially when I feel that Kovalev was robbed in the first bout.

If dude wants to take his ball and go home, then go kick rocks.....don't forget your pacifier on the way out, lol.
So whenever an American boxer fights anywhere in the United States, it's in his backyard? Or is that just for Ward?

Ward was the A-side without the belts so what do you think that makes him with the belts?

I'm what world is Ward getting stripped because he hasn't defended belts that he won 4 months ago and that he is literally in negotiations to defend?

Gee, Captain Obvious, you DA Ward fanboys are hilarious. Anything to save your idol from getting the worst beating of his life, eh? Face it, your idol is a chickenshiii who will likely retire w/o facing Kov, and will forever be remembered as a chickenshiii. LOL

Meanwhile, Kov will win back the belts he was robbed of, and be remembered as a true warrior who talked less and fought a he!!uva lot more.

Kovalev doing his part promoting the rematch. If he keeps this up they might pass 200k buys next time

It will also be interesting to see if he really does fight better when he's angry, as many have claimed

Just about everyone agrees it was a close fight, idk why you won't stop crying like a puzzyhole and just admit that.

Well, we know Ward is perfectly happy to spend years in litigation, so I wish Kov well on getting him into the ring. If the fight doesn't get made by the end of June/July Kov should get back in the ring and stay busy. After Ward 'soft retired' in 2012 to become a professional litigator he never really did get the rust off, so Kov should stay busy and bide his time. Then beat Ward to a pulp (if Ward doesn't retire first).

Frankly, anybody scoring that fight for Ward needs to get their head out of their ass. That exists in defiance of Lederman's Card, the overwhelming majority of assembles experts' cards, the punch totals, and how most people with eyes saw the fight. It also ignores how bothered Ward was by Kov's power for the whole fight, and that Ward fought an ugly and low volume fight. Ward did marginally better in the back half of the fight, but that in no way should have carried the day.

I have my favourites, but I do my best not to kid myself. Some people here should do the same.
