100k ppv buys. This fight should be on normal HBO. Before legit stars still had to fight a good opponent to get on ppv. Now hype jobs that can't draw for **** can fight a b grade fighter and be on ppv... thank you Pacquiao vs Rios and Floyd vs Berto for paving the way to **** ppv headliners.

GGG is small time doesn't get offers to fight in vegas. GGG fangirl spin he's going to the UK to be Brooks B side and fighting all these different venus because he's a international man. LMAO No if he was offered MGM venus and MGM money that's where he would fight. It's not canelo fault he isn't as big a draw so he has to keep bouncing around to lesser venus for lesser money. Floyd biggest draw ever made more money then anybody and never had to leave Vegas to do it. He is a Michigan man who relocated to fighting in Vegas. Vegas out bid everyone for the biggest fights that's how they get them. Ain't no bidding wars for GGG fights he giving away free tickets at the forum and can't even sell out at MSG. Day of the fight a lot of tickets available

This is very true. In the past 4 weeks I've forked over $200 for 3 PPV's (Golovkin, Lemiuex, Bute). Luckily there is now a gap until May but it's still complete overkill and severely limits the audience.

Liam Smith, Robert Guerrero, Victor Postol, Chris Algieri, and Erislandy Lara had no business headlining a PPV at any point in their careers.

LMAO There are bigger soccer stadiums in Mexico that hold 4x the amount of fans then any venu in vegas. Canelo and Chavez both mexican so why isn't the fight held in one of those stadiums? Because the money is in Vegas it's the fight capital of the world you idiot. Vegas pays canelo more money then any stadium in Mexico will. Just like Floyd, and just like Manny who from Phillipines. So I ask you again if canelo making more money and is already fighting where the money is why the phuk would he go to the UK or khazak *** stan? Anyone want a big fight then coming to where canelo fights simple as that he's the biggest draw in boxing already fighting on the biggest stage.
So why aint Joshua, Brook, Klitshko boxing America if they make more in America u idiot. Most of the worlds boxer come to America, so yes America is where the money is. Do you notice Mayweather and Pacman made there fortune fighting Mexicans Barrera, Morales, Marquez, Canelo and Mayweather fighting on Mexican Holidays. Yes Canelo sells more PPV because he is Mexican and there are more Mexicans in America. Cannot u not see the picture. If Canelo was not Mexican he wouldnt be selling **** in America. He would be like Chocolatito.

So the real comparison is either we take the lowest numbers from BOTH or we compare the highest from both. So it's either 97k vs 220k or 150k vs 300k. You choose either way Canelo's worst PPV did DOUBLE GGG's. And Canelo/Smith was not billed as the biggest fight of his career like GGG's was and his opponent Lemiuex has actually fought in the US and headlined cards on HBO. Smith a pure unknown who NOBODY in the US or Mexico ever seen fight. Never been on US TV or fought on US soil. And still did it double what GGG did in PPVs and drew over 50,000 in attendance.

This is the problem with GGG groupies nobody would say Smith and Lemieux are comparable draws. Smith is closer to Wade who GGG fought on regular HBO and even with dirt cheap tickets ended up giving away tons of tickets for free. But this the game you guys play let me try and grab the low water mark to compare to GGG's biggest fight of his career against a bigger name...just so the numbers look kinda close. You don't want to talk about the Chavez numbers coming up or the Khan fight or the Cotto fight. Or the fact that if Canelo were fighting Jacobs there wouldn't be any tickets left for sale and nobody would be afraid to give a prediction on how many PPVs it would sell. You know why? Because Canelo is a bigger and proven draw. GGG has only 1 flop under his belt and his promoter is talking like he's ready to weather the storm for another.
man, I'm worried for your mental health. If GGG bothers you that much just dont talk about him.

I think the days of big PPV numbers are over because of the fervent use of streams. We have seen a steady decline in numbers and I believe that is the culprit not the fighter match-ups.
