You dumb phuk canelo has one of the richest TV contracts in Mexican history. He drew 18m viewers to watch him fight on TV Azteca. Do you think they paying him in chickens for ratings like that? He is also the face of Tecate who signed a exclusive endorsement deal for him. You can Google the deals if you want. GGG has no deals worth anything significant. His fight night purse is all he is getting.

Didn't make any PPV money? The gate alone covered the guarantees.

Wade is more comparable to Smith than Jacobs is. How many PPVs did Golovkin-Wade do?

I sneak in anywhere I can and drop a little lighter fluid when I can.

Gotta enjoy the day before cause we know afterwards this place goes to ****.

It's so much more fun when you're not a fan of any particular fighter fighting in today's day.

... Daniel Jacobs is walking away with just over 40% of the guaranteed money to the main event fighters, if these numbers are to be believed.

The back-end money on the fight is likely known within the camps, but not sure where you're getting this "coveted 50/50" from, when the WBA's own bid structure only mandated Jacobs gets 25%.

1 ... you don't know if he even was offered $15 million.

2 ... $2.5 million will be his guaranteed minimum. The PPV percentage and international income will be added to it.

3 ... Canelo only sold 260k PPVs for his last fight and his miniumum guarantee was $3.5million. Worldwide, GGG has more fans than Canelo and would bring at least as much money to the table.

4 ...Canelo would make a ton more money against GGG than he made against Liam Smith because he would be fighting GGG.

5 .. By next Sept, GGG could have all 4 MW title belts, and be a much bigger name than he is now. He'd be nuts to accept a flat fee this far out from a fight and every unbiased and knowledgable boxing pundit would tell you the same thing.

6 .. Golovkin is the champion, not Canelo. If he doesn't want to accept Canelo's offer, then Canelo needs to make him a better one, or go fuck himself.

Golovkin-Lemieux only ended up clearing $5m on PPV, and that's before figuring the costs of putting on the event and K2 getting their piece.

Between the disclosed purses, the likely costs for the rest of the show, and the costs of putting on the event, among other costs, you're talking about an outlay of at least $5m-$6m before counting any revenues.

With Haymon looking after Daniel Jacobs' piece of the pot, how much beyond the guarantee to you honestly see Golovkin actually getting? lol
