... Daniel Jacobs is walking away with just over 40% of the guaranteed money to the main event fighters, if these numbers are to be believed.

The back-end money on the fight is likely known within the camps, but not sure where you're getting this "coveted 50/50" from, when the WBA's own bid structure only mandated Jacobs gets 25%.

3 ... Canelo only sold 260k PPVs for his last fight and his miniumum guarantee was $3.5million. Worldwide, GGG has more fans than Canelo and would bring at least as much money to the table.

4 ...Canelo would make a ton more money against GGG than he made against Liam Smith because he would be fighting GGG.

5 .. By next Sept, GGG could have all 4 MW title belts, and be a much bigger name than he is now. He'd be nuts to accept a flat fee this far out from a fight and every unbiased and knowledgable boxing pundit would tell you the same thing.

6 .. Golovkin is the champion, not Canelo. If he doesn't want to accept Canelo's offer, then Canelo needs to make him a better one, or go fuck himself.

Between the disclosed purses, the likely costs for the rest of the show, and the costs of putting on the event, among other costs, you're talking about an outlay of at least $5m-$6m before counting any revenues.
