I've said this before but if GGG is beaten, it will be by a guy that it's not afraid of him. The media has created an aura of almost god like proportions about GGG's power. That stays in the back of fighter's mind whether they want to admit it or not. As soon as they get hit, that preconceived idea comes to their awareness and it stays there for the rest of the fight. Yes he hits hard but they have to come ready mentally so, I think somebody bigger, with good power and willing and able to get hit and punch back will have great success against GGG (ala Buster Douglas).Comment

Jacobs just need to go out and make this a fire fight beginning in the very first round. He needs to just throw caution to win and swing for the fences. It's really his only chance of winning this fight. Put GGG on the defensive by beating him to the punch while hitting him very hard and often.
He should be thinking about knockout all day. The mistake that his previous opponents have often made in the past were trying to out smart and out box Golovkin. No, not this time. It's time to fight.Comment

People tell me that Joe Gallagher is an actual real life trainer of fighters, but then he opens his mouth and I struggle to believe it.
On what planet does eubank jr stand in front of ggg and land five consecutive uppercuts. I really don't get how anyone thinks eubank jr would give golovkin problems, admittedly his combinations are nice to watch but the guy can land a dozen clean power punches a round on fighters with unproven chins and not have them in serious trouble.
The only way his style is unorthodoxy is that he's not slick enough to hit and and not get hit and doesn't carry enough power to sit in the pocket and trade with the real ****ers at 160. That's only going to cause himself problems if and when he finally steps up his level of competition.Comment

Well, what DJ really needs to do is land something hard in the first round. He needs to win that first round without question, so right out of the gate, the judges aren't afraid to give him close rounds. I fear that if GGG wins the first couple of rounds, he's gonna get those close middle and late rounds in the eyes of the judges.Jacobs just need to go out and make this a fire fight beginning in the very first round. To beat GGG,you got to avoid getting into a corner or have your back at the ropes.Fight him at the middle of the ring and ensure you use jabs to prevent him getting his powerful body shots.Use footwork to move left or right. You ought to be a good puncher and must possess a fairly strong chin with stamina to endure 12 rounds of boxing.Comment
