Canelo doesn't really fight like that though. Yes, he is a decent enough body puncherb ut he isn't particular budy and does not have world level stamina (its improved a lot though). GGG is too big and too skilled for him.

As for Lara, is boxing is vastly overrated but he could have been a great track star.

Saunders is very skilled but I have no clue about his desire and physical condition as of now.
Almost ALL the experts agree Ward would of beat GGG Today, Yesterday, Tomorrow. GGG's team knew it also.

Dougie Fisher who is a HUGE GGG fan even admitted that a couple of article ago. If Ward took Kovalov's best punches and survived he would survive GGG's punches as well.

I said that was the best gameplan for Brook to use if he wanted a shot at beating GGG. I rememebr people quoting that post and saying that was a crap idea. It's not. He arguably won 2 rounds and landed some serious punches. Problem was, he was not a middleweight or one accustomed to the weight. Plus GGG hits so damn hard.

What we require, is a fighter with Brook's guts to work the plan but to be able to match GGG in size and strength.

There's no one like that at middleweight. Moving andp otshotting cant beat GGG becauset he man is a classy boxer, can cut off the ring and is more accurate than most so called "slick boxers". Moving andj abbing is only going to get your ass beat worse.
brooks guts? you mean the guy who told his corner to throw the towel in first sign of trouble so he could cash his check

mental ward is a CW who can barely make LH so you want GGG an average MW to fight him?

I'm with you, Brook lost his balls through the process of the fight, through taking punches from probably the second best puncher in the sport today. That does not negate the fact that Brook had to have had balls in the first place to try the best posible plan against GGG.

Like I said, Brook could not compete for size and strength but he tried. The style to beat GGG has to go hand in hand with the size and strength needed to beat him, along with the heart and desire.

but brook was bigger then GGG in the ring that fight. he did it for the money and cashed out just before the bombardment got serious

True. Just like Canelo would of probably beat GGG at 155.

To be fair Ward didn't drain him. His big mouth drained him. Dawson's own trainer even admitted that. Just like I don't blame Floyd when Canelo opened his big mouth and said 152 FIRST. Mean what you say, say what you mean...

"KELLERMAN: You are now once again the light heavyweight champion of the world. You've gotten rid of all the old fighters in the division but there's some new interesting young fighters here. Any interest you in particular?
DAWSON: I mean I would love a fight with Andre Ward. I mean I think that would make for a great fight.
                      KELLERMAN: Super middleweight champion.
DAWSON: Super middleweight champion. I could make 168 or we could do it at 175 —a catch weight— it don't matter to me. I wanna make my statement known. I want everybody to know who I am. I wanna go after the big dogs.
It's beyond foolish for Dawson to try to blame someone else for his problems with weight, when he repeatedly said publicly that he would have no issues making 168 pounds."
