If GGG was so easy to deal with he would have more to show for his career at age 35 then he has now. The proof is in his resume and list of broken promises fights that never happened.

It's quite easy to make deals with C and low B level fighters. I'm not sure that K2 has done well when Trip wasn't the clear A side of negotiations. Recall, Hearn made the offer to them in what was a career high payday day to come to the UK for a Eubank fight. That was a win win situation to what K2 likely viewed as an easy fight that garners UK exposure for a Saunders fight.

A lot of excuses and crying here. NOBODY mentioned ring belt. I said lineal which canelo is and GGG can't have till he fights him. Sorry that hurts your vagina but no paper belt changes that. GGG needs canelo not the other way around. He's 26 and the cash cow and lineal middleweight champ those are facts. GGG is the Lord of the paper belts and ppv flop artist and 35 pushing 40, casual fans could care less about him. No buzz right now for his Jacobs fight and even loffler refuses to predict ppv sales because last time said needed 200k and the fight didn't do that did around 100k buys this fight might struggle to even match lemieux fight. Canelo/chavez tracking for around 1m buys. Clearly those belts don't mean as much as you think they do.

there is no valid reason for Golden Boy to try and block GGG fighting in June. He could just as easily get injured in training / sparring as he could in a fight. He could even pull a Judah and get injured in the shower.

If GGG doesnt fight Saunders in June, pretty much any chance of unifying will go up in smoke. If he sits until Sept, not only will he lose the chance at Saunders belt, but he would also lose his IBF title because he will have a mando due and Canelo is NOT a unification bout, so it would not take priority over the mando.

i agree on ggg giving priority to unify if thats his main goal, bu that doesnt mean canelo has to wait for ggg to become available... if ggg wants canelo he needs to be ready to sign as soon as chavez fight is over, and i said this long before the saunders talk started... but if he has others priorities there is nothing anyone can do...
