    3) If Canelo suddenly jumps ship and fights Lemieux in fall he won't have ANYBODY defending him. That's his last deadline. If he doesn't fight Golovkin by then, he better start tweeting that he wants to see Golovkin's pay checks and post photos of himself and his entourage in Ferraries.

So have a little faith, brother
in the trout and lara figths canelo was in zero danger of being ko'd. those fights were always going to be wins as long as canelo kept it reasonably close on the cards and golden boy knew he was good enough to do that.

according to who? he was supposed to fight him last year and dropped his belt to fight liam smith and you still have people defending him. there are never any deadlines in fandom. they will continually make up excuses.

What??! You talking about Jermell? Jermall's boxing skills aren't all that. The guy got by on size & power vs Trout, Bundrage, and J-Rock. Trout & J-Rock were outboxing him, but he was too damn big for them.

With the WBC making Jermall #2, I think it's highly likely he'll be fighting Jorge Heiland next. That's an easy fight for him to start out at 160. Then the WBA & WBC were talking about unifying their mando's for GGG, so after Heiland it could be the winner of N'Dam/Murata.

The two best middleweights are fighting next week. I was waiting for people to try and act like the winner of this fight mattered. It's embarrassing...the GGG fandom has resulted in people trying to hype up his poor opponents.

I think GGG is a beast, and will probably stop Danny next week (who is definitely the #2 middleweight), but stop trying to hype up these decent fighters like they're world beaters. You don't have to justify his opponents to claim he's a great talent.

Most people can't even name Hagler's MW foes, but he was great nonetheless.
        Lemieux's a sexy man though.

Would anyone else give Lemieux a good chance at knocking out Jacobs?

Explosive KO typical vs Charlo he loses a late-round TKO vs. GGG he goes early...

This has to be said, right now GGG is the most dominant, Jacobs most skilled and complete, and Lemieux the hardest puncher in the Middleweight division. I'd have to say that I think Canelo gets beaten by either of the three (although I think Canelo vs Lemieux is a pretty even fight). And I'm absolutely interested in seeing where Charlo fits. Looks like the Middleweight division may be gaining some of it's past glory.
Lemuix also didn't even try and make the 2nd day weight. So what is this like his 3rd-4th mis weight??? He should move up if he struggles so hard to make 160.

First and foremost, pray that CS is ok. As exciting as a one hitter quitter is, that was a Brutal KO.
I think that put DL back in the mix for a high profile fight.

Lemeiux's power is live vs any fighter. If He lands flush, it's trouble.
To me, he has a great chance to KO Jacobs. On the flip side, Jacobs has the same shot to stop Lemeiux.
Would be a shootout that I'd pay to watch.

Me. I think it's a given. Lemieux has a pretty good chin. It took Golovkin a while to wear him down and he could hit Lemieux at will. Danny is unlikely to hurt Lemieux early and he will get caught.
