    Spot on regarding Forrest.

I think too many guys from this era tried to use the Castillo approach to beating Floyd, and Floyd was just able to handle it better as he matured. It made for good drama though.
Castillo at his best, was a bit more skilled overall than Maidana was in my opinion.

Prime Pacquiao. Or the accused roided version. That guy blitz and overwhelms his opponents non stop for 12 rounds and wasn't afraid to get hit. Wasn't hesitant to let his hands go. Has the chin to get away with his mistakes and eat counters. Throws that overhand left like a jab. He establishes his pace, and that pace is usually war.
Awkward angles, lighting quick and cutting power. Peak pacquiao had the championship mentality, the killer instinct and that invicibility aura.

A fast and powerful southpaw that throws combinations non stop left and right.

We can all make cases why the fight happened late, one of that cases is that mayweather only wanted the fight when he saw that pacquiao could no longer KO the algieris of the world.

People say that that was a smarter pacquiao lol! that was a hesitant pacquiao a scared one, a worn one, you dont think with mayweather, or you'll just play right into his pace.
he no longer have that invisibility aura, and no longer in his peak physical state. you have to be young to do pacman's style.

Other mentions, Hearns and sweet pea. lol

Just because at times he made them look foolish, does not mean they where not considered A level fighters coming into the fight. Either they were just a little past their prime, at there prime, or right before there prime.

Again 49 styles have tried and 0 have figured it out. He is a master of adaptation, and I hate to say it because I am not the biggest fan.

Floyd had to go up in weight to 154. His best weight class is between 140-147.

JCC style or GGG(less skills but giant power).

            Leonard/Hearns style, actually Lara style.

              Castillo was better than Maidana.

Maidana fought with Floyd with feather hands and with 15 pounds of advantage.

Floyd in 140- had very good power.

only way a fighter beats a prime mayweather is with a clear size advantage, a great beard, awesome work ethic, high punch output, and dirty tactics.

I dont see anyone 130-140 beating him unless their name is Sweet Pea Whitaker and it would be nip and tuck

he was more skilled than Maidana and Margocheato...the comparison is simply one of the dumbest ever.....Castillo was clearly more talented and could do more in the ring than margo, who was nothing but size, chin and stamina....castillo had that and better skills

There is no outboxing Floyd. You have to outwork him. Maidana in the first fight had a great gameplan, he just didn't have the stamina to do it for 12 full rounds. That's what always made the prospect of a Margarito-Mayweather was intriguing to me

Castillo was A level and in his prime

                      Corrales was as well

                      Canelo

Hatton was prime and A list.....multiple defenses at 140, won a title at 147 before floyd and only lost once at 140, to pacquiao when he was not in his prime anymore

just wondering....who is A level? Castillo and corrales were the best at 130 and 135 for years and both held the lineal title. Canelo has beaten everyone he has faced since losing to mayweather and fights the same way he always does.

i know you guys dont like the guy retired undefeated but you dont have to disrespect the accomplishments and skills of other fighters because you dont like mayweather....
