He arguably lost three fights; de la hoya, maidana and castillo. His fans always hark back to his fight with corrales as the benchmark for his greatness.

Now, he is in desperation mode, practically begging conor mcgregor to fight him so he can pick up an easy 50th win against a guy with not one legit boxing match to his credit and an easy pay day from the suckers who will buy this fight. Way to put the cherry on a career that was built upon faded household names, smaller opponents and slow flat-footed brawlers.
    lmao!!!!!!!

Take his jab away from him! And dominate him with your own Jab! And then implement some fast movement, every-time he attempts to hit you with a lead right! or a jab to your body...

Oscar De La Hoya, had the best style to beat Floyd Mayweather! It's a shame they never had a rematch, as their first fight was very close! De La Hoya at times had Mayweather shut down with his own strong Jab, and combinations.....

It wasn't very close....Oscar was having all kinds of issues with his speed, not to mention floyd rattled him twice with right hooks.

you do realize osacr was well past his best at 34 right? no where near in his prime...his shots were slower and he could be timed easier....his stamina also was a lot lower and he faded....a oscar of 8 years earleir would of kept up that pace for the whole 12 rounds......

And he still would have landed %10 of his shots and been countered all night, and possibly sustained more damage and stopped.
