Jacobs: GGG has good offense, but bad defense! I'll expose it!

He will look good for several rounds, even make it interesting in the scorecards, then boom boom boom a combo puts him down, maybe he gets up, but GGG finishes it.
It could go like that but I really do think Jacob's sees this as his big opportunity so he will be going in there pretty determined. When a guy goes in determined like that it usually has to be beaten out of them so I think that will take some effort from Golovkin.

Like I said I think it will be a pretty good fight though.

Either way most of the outcomes definitely favor Golovkin.

Golovkin evaluates his opponents and does what he needs to beat them. He did it with Lemieux weakening him with the jab and following up with the body and heat shots. He did it with Brook. He didn't take Brook seriously and got caught with a few shots early and then proceeded to deliver a beat down when he had seen enough. He's not a one dimensional fighter. Jacobs will find that out soon enough. Hopefully Danny will bring something competitive to the ring. Looking forward to this one.

While Golovkin will definitely take a more responsible defensive approach against Jacobs than he does the crap opponents he blows through, Jacobs will have his chances to land bombs. We'll see if he can land one that hurts Golovkin before the other way around.

        I doubt it.

If Jacobs was the Kazakh and Golovkin the "american" he wouldn't mind the titles staying over there.

Your ass, the only loser is you on this site always spewing nonsense. That jab controlled the fight that night. Just cause you're a big GGG hater doesn't mean what we saw that night didn't happen. Neutralized that big left hook Lemieux has with the jab. GGG s jab is very underrated as so are his boxing skills. But to people who don't know **** about boxing like you, like to hate.

One fight Wtf. Ask any boxer who had the heart to get in the ring with him , they will tell you about GGGs jab and how he keeps the distance with it. Then he works his power punches off it. Left to the body double left to the side of the head. Or over hand left to top of the forehead like the one he knocked Rubio out with. Murray also got a dose too. Tape don't lie. One fight the only fight you ever saw GGG fight in that's what you base your lame comment on. Wow ok if you say so.

GGG kos Jacobs in 3rounds maybe 4 if his able to survive. Once he touches Jacobs chin he's going to be in trouble. Every thing starts with the jab to keep Jacobs power shots at bay. It's that simple. You guys are high if you think GGG is going to be walking into power shots ala the Brook and wade fights. He's a way smarter fighter than you haters think. He's not 36-0 for nothing.

I actually took the time to check this one out cos I immediately thought BS too, but it turns out that (per compubox - so take it as you will) per average round over their last 10 fights Golovkin has been getting hit more. I only did the calculations very roughly but it looked like about 15 - 20%. Of course in an average round Golovkin also landed more than Jacobs - again roughly to the tune of about 15 - 20%

There are some Caveats to this of course - firstly Jacobs opposition - with a couple of exceptions - makes GGGs look like a murderers row, secondly Jacobs' preponderance of early round KOs in which there's extreme dominance virtually from the get-go (as opposed to Golovkins more methodical approach, usually with a couple of 'feeling out' rounds) tends to skew these figures.

But broadly speaking Kigali is right on this one. Don't think it's gonna help Danny much on the night though.

Nah, his defense is week. His chin has saved him up to this point.
