Like I say, Oscar is small-minded and, no doubt, a slow learner. Racism is rampant and plays into most everything. It definitely is a way to make money. I remember watching wrestling on TV as a kid. All the wrestlers had a gimmick, some with a racist or ethnic twist. The Iron Sheik was panned off as an evil Arab, some wore Scottish kilts, others were Indian chiefs and yelled out war whoops and so one. Even Ali got in on the act, calling Joe Fraser a gorilla and generally making fun of his background. That was disappointing, but at that time Ali was young and full of himself. I will say, though, that some progress is being made. I have definitely seen worse.

Good point. Some say Golovkin hasn't made this much potential money for a fight but the same can be said for Canelo. Canelo and Oscar need Golovkin too but this fight will be in a holding pattern for a long time imo. Too risky.

And 45% each for the cable provider and promoter...ok breakdown say its $70 dollars for the ppv and it sells 1 million ppvs thats $70 million ...of that $70 dollars ppv 10% which $7 is skimmed of the top by HBO that leaves $63 .... $31.50 to the cable provider and $31.50 to the promoter ...so a million buys at $31.50 is $31.500.000. ..so my advice to golovkin is just take the 15 million and blitz the ginger headed goat herder
