BBB side fans have trouble grasping the fact that Canelo wants the fight, but doesn't need it. If the fight never happens Canelo will still be making huge purses fighting twice a year for the next decade. BBB side doesn't have that advantage, what ever you think of the offer, its more than BBB side will in his next 3-4 fights combined without Canelo.
Canelo and GBP have been pretty clear its a take it or leave it offer. Canelo will arguably make more getting the majority of the money against Jr. plus he can fight BJS or do a Cotto rematch this fall and get his usual payday.
Leverage is all about who has the better options and BBB side has none.

They don't believe him. They're just twisted flomos who troll GGG threads because they know their hero doesn't like Golovkin.

If GGG fights to better than he gets more $$$$. His PPV sales will be his commission.
As the challenger to the WBC belt he was willing to take that 25% Oscar and Canelo both said "nope you don't deserve that." Not getting into a debate but these are the facts and they are here in print.

What makes you think these GGGTards would even accept that??

I bet you $$$$ If GGG wanted 60% and Goldenboy turned them down they STILL would say Canelo is ducking.

It has NOTHING to do about the % or the $. It has EVERYTHING to do with GGG. If GGG said he wanted a FKN Pony that can Flies and shoots stars out of it's ass, Canelo and Oscar to scissor each other, and He want's a BILLIONS $$$$...They still would say Goldenboy is DUCKING that's a "fair" offer.

These are the same clowns who jumped all over Jacobs for wanting more than 25%. Same ones that said Ward don't deserve SHT because he's a BET fighter.

If it was 25% then they should of taken it but I heard different and here it is in B&W...

Bro, not sure how long you've been a boxing fan but huge purses and success are not guaranteed in boxing. We've seen a ton of fighter hit the pinnacle and run into the wrong punch, hence fighters jumping at chances to make the most money possible. Canelo is a small boxer who carries alot of physical weight, as he gets older cutting weight is going to get harder and he's going to transition into becoming the smaller man in the ring.

This is at the point where Canelo wanted him to come down to 155 that was the only issue they had in that round of negotiations. Other than that they were ready to fight. It's the same situation Jacobs just found himself in as the challenger. I don't believe Canelo doesn't want to fight, I just think Oscar wants to be greedy and pay off that lawsuit they both lost at the expense of everyone else.

I'm still trying to reason how you guys are claiming that Canelo is a star. If he was a star then why did his last PPV do 300k in buys? How is that star power? If Canelo's ppv with Chavez does 600k its not because of Canelo alone. Its because Mexicans know that 2 Mexicans in the ring is going to be fireworks for however long it last. Add the drama with the trainer and Chavez acting like he's interested and this fight sells. However put a regular guy in front of him instead of GGG his PPV numbers are going to start falling. How is that smart business? Where was I when Canelo was the greatest things since sliced bread? You can call me a GGG stan all you want. I'm questioning Canelo's sudden rise to greatness. Who did he beat to be the man?

Ok, so all you need to do to force a champion to hand over his world title is ask him for 50% more than you are entitled to on a purse bid?

And why do you think GGG would have asked for 45% as a challenger, and only 40% as the defending champion?

I'm getting so sic and tired of both GGG and CanYellow's drama. Canelo has only himself to blame with that BS he pulled after Cotto. And they just won't shut-up and move on.

You know what I want to see???

Both Jacobs and Chavez J. to win by KO!

And then we can have 1000's of post about...

                      Who had the better loss.
                      Who lasted longer.
                      Who had the tougher opponent
                      but, but, but

No matter what both sides are going to continue to argue until there way past retirement.
