Canelo didn't fight Khan at 160. Who would be favourite between Cotto and anyone on Golovkins resume at 155?

It's pointless for you to even try and compare resumes. It's a battle you can't win. Canelo's is far superior.

Golovkin wouldn't have tried to force a purse bid against Canelo and he wouldn't have got 45% if it had gone to a bid.

But you know that already, don't you?

ok so we will follow the numbers then following canelo's fight with Floyd. His first fight was against Angulo right..... He did 350,000 PPV buys. His fight with Lara he did 300k. Kirkland, Cotto and kahn all follow those immediate fights and they are all fighters that bring their own following and fan base. So when the hell did Canelo become a PPV star!!!!

His last PPV was also 300k so basically if you don't put a name opponent in front of him he isn't pulling in any big numbers just like GGG.

He's asking for 40% now, what makes you think he didn't want 45%?

Your putting 2 caliber fighters in the ring and you favor one getting paid more instead of calling for fairness of trade. Canelo pissed on low ball offers when he ran from a fight with GGG following the cotto win. Now he's fighting a chump in Chavez Jr instead of facing the boogie man.
Tell FKN GGG to get more buys then!!!

You sale 250K tickets and the other guy sales 750K

                    There's your fan base numbers = 25%

If GGG fights to better than he gets more $$$$. His PPV sales will be his commission.

Boxing fans + finances = A ******* of ****** shhh flying back and forth. Unless they put out all of the details within that "contract" we will never know. Clearly the people doing the negotiation here who have all of the information are not comfortable with whatever catches/intangibles come with that guarantee. The intangibles are what boxing fans completely ignore and why even discussing this is flat out ******.
