    Not fair though.......
The bolded is pure nonsense, and the power balances between GGG/Canelo and Floyd/Canelo are in no way comparable.

Canelo better make sure that his fight with Chavez is close and competitive. Because, apart from a rematch of that one, he has ZERO other options at 160, except GGG.

Canelo made $13 mil fighting Amir Khan. That was a joke fight. I bet he made atleast $7 mil fighting Smith. These are paydays Golovkin can only dream of. Asking for 40% is a ****ing joke, i'm sure Canelo would agree to a percentage split if they weren't asking for such a ridiculous one.

How is what i said pure nonsense? It'd probably take him more than 5 fights to earn $15 mil because he only gets $2 mil on regular HBO.

Pretty sure quite a few Mayweather and Pacquiao opponents took flat fees for 1 million selling PPV fights. Just another lie by Golovkin fans saying it doesn't happen.
If your going to issue a challenge to someone then you should be willing to pay their fee. Canelo had a chance to be in the driver seat when he challenged GGG after the Cotto fight. He had the Recognized Middle Weight Championship and he basically threw it in the trash and ran to another division to avoid a fight with GGG. Now because his balls finally dropped he wants everyone to believe he wants the fight. Well if Canelo wants the fight then let him prove it by offering GGG what he is asking for. Canelo hasn't campaigned at 160 so why should he get a shot at the title if he isn't willing to pay for it?

Making an offer of 5x to 7x what Golovkin usually makes isn't enough?

If 15 is true, Golovkin should take it. I don't think the PPV will do huge numbers. De La Hoya was a bigger star than Canelo. Hopkins was better than Golovkin. Hops didn't get close to 15 mil to fight Oscar. 15 is fair. He'll be offered less after Jacobs pounds on him.

Your basing what GGG's previous fights generated off of what this fight will isn't a fair comparison. Coming into a champion's division GGG is actually entitled to the lion's share. Canelo is the challenger and I don't believe he's the betting favorite. How do you justify Canelo low balling GGG based off Canelo's past opposition when the biggest name on Canelo's resume beat him and made him look amature. Canelo couldn't even KO an aged Cotto. GGG would have put Cotto in a comma. In fact I know why red doesn't want the fight.... He'll be shamed for quitting on his stool.

**** you, ginger. All you've done is talk and talk and talk while simultaneously refusing to even consider the fight until later this year. No answer Golovkin could have given to date would have made this fight happen any sooner than September, at the earliest. The people criticizing and blaming Golovkin try very hard to forget that part of this.

If the offer is real, it will be there in a couple months when it's actually time to sign the fight. If it was public posturing, it won't be. We'll know the actual truth soon enough.

Are you ******ed? Purses for big fights are decided upon by how big of a draw you are, the belts aren't worth **** to a fighter that's already a star. Canelo is at least 3x the draw Golovkin is, asking for 40% is Golovkin pricing himself out.

Would you still cry if Oscar said $6,000,000 and 30%??? Which would be less IMO.

Your the only one calling him a star. You don't get credit for coming in second place. Floyd played with Canelo and showed how much of hot garbage he is. If Canelo had beaten Floyd then he could get away with the trash he is trying to pull. Instead he got exposed for the flat footed punching bag he is. Now when he opens his mouth to issue a challenge it equates to a fat woman farting... its all hot air. If Canelo is serious about fighting GGG it'll be with his check book because his word isn't worth ****. Canelo's cherry is broken and his 0 is gone.
