Very true. Their argument back then centered around GGG not willing to make concessions, meaning GGG was ducking Jacobs. Now that the fight is made, Daniel is suddenly another easy fight for Golovkin.

1:9, wow. It's clear this guy is actually a closet GGG fanatic. He sees GGG as a monster. Wow.

Doe I'm rooting for Jacobs. It's a 50/50 fight for me.

and elite is not even in the picture.

Yet, they are among the best names on the resume.

              That is a problem.

Yes, Lil g probably KOs Jacobs...but if the exact opposite happened, I would not be shocked at all. And, if I had more confidence in Danny's chin I'd pick him outright to win.

              Still might.
              Agreed!!!!!!!!!

U know what? the more the fight approaches the moer I feel this is a closer match than odds have it.

I was of the mentality that GGG was gonna blast out Jacobs, but seeing Jacobs fights and even thou his best win was Quillin, the dude is a top guy. You can have 100 bums but Knocking out those 100 bums ain't an easy task.

Jacobs KO ratio is a scary one, he's a slick guy, a taller guy than GGG, a very athletic guy. the only damn problem I have with Danny is his chin.

But if he comes in top shape and is defensive responsible he's got a chance to really hurt or outbox GGG.

I don't know................. but one thing is sure, if GGG blows out Danny like everyone else, he'll be favoreg against anyone from 154-168.

He is hands down the best Lil g has ever faced.

And, if Golovkin had even half a handful of wins versus this caliber of fighter, I for one wouldn't have ANY doubts about him.

This is a huge statement fight for both men.

Bottom line with this fight is if Jacobs brings his A game he might have a shot at catching Golovkin early. If he doesn't bring it, it will be business as usual for Golovkin. A methodical beat down with a foregone conclusion. Let's forget about race color or creed and just focus on what each fighter really brings to the table. God willing it will be an entertaining fight. That's what boxing fans really want. Isn't it?
