geegg fans need to stop bringing up stevens an lemiux as if those were top quality wins. they are not bums and are just decent wins.. but if the shoe were on the other foot and Jacobs fans tried to use those wins to justify how great he was you all would laugh them to scorn

From Leonard to Mayweather, they all went up in weight after either dominating all their opposition in a particular weight class or not having enough opposition in a particular weight class.

With that being said, this is going to be an interesting fight. If the Danny Jacobs that beat down Peter Quillin shows up, it will be a great matchup.

I want Jacobs to win, but something tells me, given him being knocked down by MORA, that GGG will get the best of him.

        GGG TKO in RD10.
Getting knocked down by Mora will not serve as a force-field to protect GGG.

GGG had a chance to fight Mora on HBO

        But

He chose to fight Adama off TV

My reference to Mora was simply a reference to how suspect Danny's chin may actually be...

ward was struggling with legal battle and then offered golovkin once he made deal with lemieux so stfu about that

2 points, who are you to qualify who a real champion is? Monzon, Hagler. And second, who really thinks Golovkin is at the same level as Mayweather and especially Leonard. He might be (although I doubt it) but we will likely never know even if he goes undefeated (which I again doubt) because there is just a lack of competition to measure himself against.

Well that suspect chin didn't help Mora.

                  It didn't help Quillan

                  ...and it won't help GGG.

It doesn't always matter what weight you start at, the weight you are at a peak age is your natural weight. These men were natural middleweight when Golovkin fought them and not old. So the higher profile wins say Murray and Lemieux were most certainly middleweights,Macklin had fought twice for the middleweigjt title and Stevens had come down a weight. So no, what he said isn't true at all.

Stopping Murray was a very good victory though. That's the best win at 160 in a long time. I would say that's the best win since Martinez beat Pavlik. I would say it was Canelo beating Cotto, except that Cotto weighed 153lbs, so that fight was only technically a MW fight but I consider it more a fight between two JMW's, and that gives Canelo the best win at 154 since Mayweather beat him.
