So true, maybe he was not using the correct form when doing the exercise. Or already had the injury, back injury is one of the first problems in boxing, because you roll with punches, so isn't that surprising.

I remember when Pirog slept Jacobs, was beating him up all fight, probably what GGG will do to him.

hmm those compubox numbers seem a bit off...and compubox is always so reliable i dont know wat happened doe

But through the first four rounds Jacobs led on 39-37 on all three scorecards

thats just the al haymon special. if jacobs only knew all he had to do was not get ko'd he would have fought a lot differently.

well compubox numbers are always off so its not just this fight. almost everyone had pirog winning the fight before the ko. pirog won 2 rounds, jacobs 1, and the otehr was close but yet the judges all had jacobs ahead giving him every roudn cept the one where he was badly hurt. thats really bad. could they all just be bad judges who arent influenced by boxign politics? yes thats possible but also unlikely.

You're talking like Jacobs was controlling the fight and Pirog just landed a lucky punch!

Jacobs was battered and almost went down in the second and, as Emanuel Steward said in his commentary, "Danny started looking concerned 30 seconds into the first round" after he came out aggressively, looking to force Pirog back, and ended up on the retreat himself.

Pirog was in control right from the start, and he wasn't trying to score points, he was trying to set Jacobs up for the KO, which is exactly what he succeeded in doing.

what i actually said was what i actualy said...dj was NOT getting battered. never said it a LUCKY punch. just that it was SINGULAR....ie, not a combo.

''trying to set up dj for the ko.''
wow, is that what guys who move forward and press the fight do ?!?!?!? thats shocking.......to no one.

ive seen the fight many times. imho, if they had fought 10x, dj wins 9 of them.

anyway, onto the next fight for dj. pirog/3g fans can continue to reminisce ?
