mcgregor is a huge name everywhere where there are people who like entertainment or that follow the fight game before or after challenging fmj.
whilst being a mcgregor and mayweather fan i find it difficult to see how it would pan out....a UFC fighter punch delivery isnt like a boxer, A boxer punch delivery is actually harder but with the cushioning that is less than that of a UFC type glove I cant see how conor (no matter how hard he hits) can deliver the ko blow hes talking about.
timing beats speed yes but, floyd is very quick and he will see punches (like the conor vs alvarez fight example) coming a mile away because of how the shot is being delivered.
I see movement as key to striking floyd successfully, we have seen people try to muscle him,walk him down,back him up,counter him,hold or manhandle him,out smart him,faster than him and none of it works why? because his defense is a masterclass. boring i know but, in performing the art he has mastered it by almost not getting hit.
ufc fights are shorter but rounds are longer, boxers rounds are shorter yet fights are longer.
conor is more than able of unsettling floyd within the first round, this is the most important time for conor as floyd likes to warm to a fight and have a look. conor will want to give value for money and go for it from the bell and this is enough to unsettle floyd. the movement of a ufc fighter a based on all the different arts of combat that they possess and this is nothing like floyd had faced in pro boxing match.
just because conor cant kick him or elbow it doesnt mean he cant employ the movement....this part would be very interesting as conor would have to control his instinctive response in a fight and we might see floyd unbalanced and if this were the case, he would certainly be unsettled. the first 3 minutes are conors do with as he pleases i think. after that, its all about how much conor can take in terms of getting hit in the face by a master in the art.

You obviously don't know anything about MMA or UFC. Ronda never quit in her loses haha. Outside of the ring I like Floyd as a person but come on his fighting style is the most coward style potshot and run or hold and get all the advantages before the fight. Compared to McGregor who fights aggressively even against Diaz who outweighed him by probably 25 pounds. He's not even a boxer and wants to up against one of the hardest guys to hit that's not a coward. Compared to Floyd who would never think about going in the Octagon with McGregor but if he did McGregor would make Floyd tap from an arm bar or rear naked choke guaranteed.
