He's lying, unless he lives in Dublin Ireland there is no way McGregor is bigger han Floyd anywhere.

But Foreman is right. I did not know who McGregor was until he said he could choke out Floyd in 30 seconds in April of 2015. McGregor was not even headlining PPVs until he mentioned Mayweather. The more he mentioned Floyd the bigger he became. Similar to Ronda Rousey's path to fame.

        What if?

By the time Floyd steps into the ring to fight CM it will be a fair time from his last fight.

        What if he's grown old?

will that mean that with aged reflexes he could be tagged by CM and beaten at his own game?

What would happen to the general publics opinion about boxing, will it change?

        How big is this fight?

This is simply not true. There are many more UFC fans that boxing fans today.

That's nothing more than the product of you living in a bubble. I knew who Conor and especially Ronda were before I even started watching UFC - and I've no doubt the same is true of many, many other people - and no, you don't become a superstar just by briefly mentioning someone else's name. That's just ****** and people that think you can get the mainstream to care about you that easily are not very bright.

Count me in the camp that hadn't heard of him until Floyd's name got mentioned. Same with Rousey.

You knew who they were because the media started giving them attention and neither of those guys had the same meteoric rise until they mentioned Floyd. Conor did not headline and PPVs until he mentioned Floyd. His first PPV headline was in the summer of 2015. It's not living in a bubble it's just a fact. And he did not sell over a million buys until he faced Aldo, a popular UFC fighter in his own right.

You're the one living in the bubble. The UFC bubble. I'd no idea who Conor Mcwhatsit was either. I had heard of Ronda Rousey mainly because people thought she was this super-hot, super-tough chick. So I checked that out. Turns out neither are true.

Nobody becomes a star or garners the public's interest just because they mention another star, kiddo. Anyone with the most rudimentary form of common sense should know this. It's fucking ****** to even argue.

People are invested in Conor (and Ronda) for a variety of reasons, and it has nothing to do with Mayweather. I know Mayweather fanboys find it hard to accept that not everything is about him, but like I said - That's just them (and you) living in a bubble. The universe doesn't revolve around Floyd and he isn't responsible in any way for their fame or success.

And lol @ "Aldo is a popular fighter in his own right." Yeah, in his homeland of Brazil. He isn't a draw anywhere else. I believe his last PPV before fighting Conor even did as low as 160,000, which are below average numbers for your typical UFC PPV.

You're a Conor fanboy so you can't understand simple logic when it comes to your idol. If My claims are false why is Conor chasing a fight with Floyd in boxing instead of defending his titles in the UFC? It's because Floyd is the biggest name in the fight game even two years after he retired.

In all of 2015, Ronda kept going at Floyd in the media and when she lost Floyd's name was trending in the news and he didn't even fight. Neither Conor nor Rousey sold over a million pay per views until they started beefing with Floyd in the media. Rousey even admitted before her fight with Bethe Correia that she used Floyd's name to promote her fight.

Conor's doing everything in his power to make a fight with Floyd happen. Going to Vegas to fix his issues with the NSAC when he initially said he would never fight in Vegas again, then trying to get a boxing license in Nevada, and constantly mentioning Floyd's name in the media. If they fight Floyd's name would be ahead of Conor's and Floyd will make more money than him lol.
