If My claims are false why is Conor chasing a fight with Floyd in boxing instead of defending his titles in the UFC? It's because Floyd is the biggest name in the fight game even two years after he retired.

In all of 2015, Ronda kept going at Floyd in the media and when she lost Floyd's name was trending in the news and he didn't even fight. Neither Conor nor Rousey sold over a million pay per views until they started beefing with Floyd in the media. Rousey even admitted before her fight with Bethe Correia that she used Floyd's name to promote her fight.

Conor's doing everything in his power to make a fight with Floyd happen. Going to Vegas to fix his issues with the NSAC when he initially said he would never fight in Vegas again, then trying to get a boxing license in Nevada, and constantly mentioning Floyd's name in the media. If they fight Floyd's name would be ahead of Conor's and Floyd will make more money than him lol.
In regards to the first paragraph, it's because it would be a huge spectacle - A crossover fight between the two biggest stars in combat sports. Duh. None of this does anything to demonstrate the completely ******ed narrative you have going, which is that Floyd has such a divinity shrine about him that all it takes is mentioning him or "beefing" with him to transform you into a megastar yourself. If it did, there'd be a whole lot more people headlining PPVs and drawing a million plus buys because he and Ronda are certainly not the only people that have called out Floyd or exchanged words with him.
          Fuck's sake...

And of course Floyd would get paid more and be promoted ahead of Conor - Because it'd be a boxing match, which is his sport. Floyd isn't stepping in the octagon, and there's more money at stake in boxing which is what largely attracts McGregor to the whole idea to begin with. Mayweather has reached a higher peak comparing career totals and that would obviously be factored in to who is considered the A-side, but that still says nothing about which of them is the bigger name modern-day (i.e. McGregor.)

If Conor wanted to create a huge spectacle he could fight Canelo or any of the other active boxers around his weight class. He wants to fight Floyd because Floyd is the biggest name in combat sports. Floyd is bigger than Pacquiao Cotto, Canelo or anyone else who is still active, that is why McGregor wants him and not the others.

And beefs have always been a way to get attention. Just like the hip hop beefs in the 90s, they grab headlines. And if beefing with Floyd did not help Rousey or McGregor's careers tell me why neither one of them sold over a million pay per views until they mentioned Mayweather?

Rousey even admitted that she used Floyd's name to promote her fight with Correia, you could look this up on youtube you ignorant Fuck. And as for Conor, he doesn't have the bigger following on social media nor has he generated the same kind of money Mayweather has so how can he be the bigger name? He's just the more relevant guy at the moment because he is still active while Floyd is not.

Conor wants to fight Floyd because Floyd is the biggest name in boxing - That doesn't make him the biggest name in combat sports entirely. Floyd needs Conor, too - He admitted that it was him that started the rumors of him vs McGregor last year, and he's also stated a number of times since then that Conor is the only person who can get him back in the ring. Think about that - The only person who can convince Floyd to return for his illustrious 50th is a fighter from a whole different sport with a 0-0 boxing record. Says an awful lot about Conor's star power, doesn't it?

That's the most laughable form of Correlation Doesn't Imply Causation that I've ever seen. Conor and Ronda were already big stars and (gradually becoming bigger and bigger overtime), and arguably the only reason some people took notice of them mentioning Floyd at all is because they were already relevant figures. Any ordinary schome can try and piggyback off someone's name and scold them in the media - Doesn't mean people will give a shit, let alone magically become so invested in that person that they become a global star. Keith Thurman has mentioned Mayweather plenty of times, including just recently. Why isn't he headlining PPVs, selling out arenas, drawing millions of buys in PPV, loved by the media and the masses alike, etc.? You have no idea how f'n dumb you sound even attempting to use this as an argument.

Not everyone is apart of social media. Who cares. Conor is more relevant because he's in his prime whole people have had enough of Floyd. That's why Floyd said he's only willing to fight McGregor for his 50th not anyone else.

                Well that's not true.
McGregor has been a big name and had a big buzz around him for a while now.

He's more well known to people now after all this Mayweather talk for sure. But even before that, he's had more talk and buzz the last, say 18 months, than any others i can think of in combat sport behind the obvious 'big 2' names.

You are so in denial. Keith Thurman hasn't talked about Floyd nearly as much as Ronda or Conor have and he doesn't have a powerful promotional company behind him either the way they do. Conor WAS NOT headlining Pay Per Views until summer of 2015, several months after he first called out Floyd. Ronda did not do over a million buys until she called out Floyd as well. Explain why Ronda admitted she used Floyd's name to promote her fight with Correia?

You're the same idiot who thought Ronda and Conor became big on their own and that the UFC had very little to do with their star power. Yet no one in the mainstream knew who they were before they joined the UFC LOL.

And social media may not be the end all be all but it definitely is a gauge of how popular someone is. Floyd has a bigger following than Conor on every platform. He's also generated far more in revenue. You have no statistical evidence to prove that Conor is bigger than Floyd. Floyd wants Conor because it'll be the easiest cherry pick ever. A guy with a big name and big following with little boxing experience for an easy 50-0. That's all

Conor didn't even "call out" Floyd in 2015, you idiot. He briefly mentioned in a couple of interviews when asked about him that he would destroy him. You don't start headlining PPVs and drawing a huge amount of viewers just based on that. He and Ronda were already stars at that time and their fame was gradually increasing with each new win. Again, you're just a Floyd nuthugger who wants to give him as much credit as possible for things he had practically nothing to do with. For one final time, it takes a whole lot more to become a star with the masses - let alone a global superstar - than just criticizing someone in a whole different sport (and briefly at that.) Unfortuanely, you're so hopelessly ****** and ignorant that this will never get through to you.

And Keith Thurman has talked about Floyd plenty, but the reason no one gives a **** is because hardly anyone outside of hardcore boxing fans give a **** about Thurman. Unlike is the case with Conor and Rousey.

And the reason Conor is bigger than Floyd is because he's crossed over into the mainstream in ways Floyd never did. The last time Floyd drew a million plus buys other than Pacquiao was against Canelo in late 2013. Conor's been doing that reguarly for the past year, already equaling all but three of Mayweather's buys. Conor has also starred in Call of Duty (one of the biggest gaming franchises in the world), been offered a role in Game Of Thrones (the second most popular show on television), was originally offered a role in the new XXX film, offered the main part in the Predator remake, getting offers from WWE to appear at Wrestlemania, etc. You name it. He also has NBA athletes imitating his walk. The average Youtube video of McGregor being interviewed generally does far more views than one with Mayweather as well. Sorry, but Floyd can't keep up. He's resorting to calling McGregor out for his 50th fight because he knows he's by far the biggest name he can fight.

You clearly have reading issues. Explain why neither Conor nor Rousey sold over a million pay per view buys before they started talking about Floyd? Explain why Rousey admtted that she used Floyd's name to promote her fight with Correia? You still haven't answered any of those questions. And Keith Thurman doesn't have a 4.2 billion dollar promotional company behind him the way Ronda and Conor have. If it weren't for the UFC no one would know who the f**k they are.

Explain why it's Conor who wants to go over into Floyd's world and not the other way around. It's because Floyd is the bigger star and commands the bigger money. It's simple economics but clearly you have no idea how economics and promotion works. No one has sold over 2 million pay per view buys without the name Mayweather on the card. Not Tyson, not Holyfield, not Manny, not Ronda, and definitely not Conor.

Conor had a two second role in Call of Duty, never had an official offer from HBO to be in Game of Thrones and was only offered a bit part in XXX. The WWE hasn't made a official offer to him either. Floyd got 20 million for Wrestlemania, has met with Presidents, and is the biggest pay per view draw of all time. It's not nuthugging those are facts.

You are a Conor nuthugger. I like both guys so I'm not biased like you are. You make claims without the numbers to back up any of your claims. How can a guy have a smaller following on social media, sold less pay per views, generated less money and still be the bigger name?
