Plus jones fought guys like hopkins, toney and virgil hill who were all better than the brits.

Saying that - a young nigel benn cud well have KO'd RJJ.....RJJ was too slick for collins and the eubank fight wud be one of the classiest fights u ever see, with RJJ getting a close decision imo.
Eubank would have beat Virgil and Hopkins at that point.

Trinidad was a blown-up welterweight, he tried the shoulder roll with Hopkins but just wasn't strong enough. And that wasn't Hopkins in his prime, by the way.

PRIME Hopkins (1990's) could of beaten Eubank with relentless pressure and hurtful punching, he had a vicious radar and constant, mean, accurate shots. But he would of risked being caught by Eubank's right hand, so I suppose it would be a matter of chance. I wouldn't fancy his chances against Nigel Benn though! And no version of Hopkins would of had much hope against Calzaghe.

And Eubank has the style to beat Toney. Calzaghe also has a style that would beat Toney.
        eubank, perhaps.

I believe if you put Eubank and Calzaghe together in their prime Calzaghe wins! It would have been a closer fight but a UD for Calzaghe nevertheless! No matter what you say, the evidence is there Calzaghe is the most complete, rounded and probably the best fighter Britain has ever produced!!!

Eubank was asked a few years back what would of happened if Calzaghe had fought him five years earlier and Eubank said "Probably stopped him, possibly knocked him out, but I wouldn't of beaten him on points unless he wanted to play cat and mouse..I'd of bashed him up abit more though."

It's a shame that Jones didnt take more chances with his career. He was surely good enough to win most of those fights out there and then we could look back at his career knowing exactly how good he was instead of just wondering whether he was a protected fighter. The only guy he beat that was any good was Hopkins - Toney was so weight drained he could barely stand up. And Hopkins wasnt in his prime yet. I think he could have beaten most other fighters, but we'll just never know

probably Roy Jones was self-promoter and was very bad promoter so he cant get fights in britian but if went with bob arum then i think it would have happened
