Roy Jones Jr never wanted to fight outside of USA, as he was robbed of Gold at the olympics in South Korea, so felt he would only get fair decisions in the US.
He said he would fight in the UK, but not Germany.

Calzaghe fully deserved that Young Fighter of the Year award as well- you see Frank Minton had been in with six former or future world champions but Joe blew him away, then the following week he fought Cruiserweight Bobbi Joe Edwards (cousin of Chris Eubank) after just nine fights and completely out-boxed an all-out slugger which proved he could box as well as punch (Edwards could hardly lay a glove on him, it was ridiculously impressive).

RJJ would'nt fight Nige becos he felt it would recieve all the wrong publicity as a 'revenge mission'

          As for Eubank,

At a press confrence in 1996 RJJ said this-
"Chris gets nothing from me, when i was coming up trying to make a name for myself he would'nt give me a shot. Oh but now he's at the end of his career he thinks he can make some money off Roy?? I dont think so"

no man the prime toney KO's all three of them and the prime hopkins out boxes them as he did to tito. you cannot blame roy for not going over there. one yea in the 88 olympics he was robbed so why would you go back oversea's to fight again? two he is the champ the challenger should go get the champ. not the other way around. you call the champ to tell him hey i think i have what it takes to beat you. as the champ i wouldnt go over to another guys country. but all in all roy would have beaten all of them no matter where the fight was held.

Michlazceski (sp.) actually was the linear champ, and undefeated during this period. It really sucks when you look all the fights that could have been during this period, instead of what we got.

i agree, but the blame doesnt just lie with roy or with dariusz. its a combo of both, and i understand their points of view.

Because of what Benn did to McClellan (with McClellan having been good buddies with Jones Jr), right?

I don't think anybody in history could of KO'd Eubank.

And Eubank has the style to beat Toney. Calzaghe also has a style that would beat Toney.
