That's right, PPVs can be relatively reasonable in the UK. You can be sure it would have been nearly double that in the US @ $70, which would have not been worth it.

Still need to face the Thurman-Garcia winner to decide that. Damnit 2017 looks good.

It has always been a mystery to me and one that has never been answered OBJECTIVELY by his legions of diehards why he is so highly thought of when his body of work does not bear that out.

Once you start claiming a fighter is the best or one of the best in the division it has to be based on hard evidence.

Unfortunately, I do not see it in Brook's resume.

The Spence fight will tell us a lot.

For me it is less about whether he wins or not but more about how he acquits himself.

Not sure the fight sells to be honest, boxing fans are not dumb. Khan came up from 135 to 140 and now 147, in that time Brook was calling him out. People didn't really pay much attention to it until Khan started fighting at 147. Even then after watching Khan getting KO at 140, most people know the same outcome would happen to the smaller man. So that fight is not PPV worthy at all.

He definitely need to push on if he gets past Spence, I thought he would push on after dethroning Porter but then he went back to mediocre competition. There is zero excuses for Brook IMO, the names that was available to him at 147 over the last 5 years alone and he only has Porter in that long list. I wouldn't even mind a Maidana or Lucas Matthyse. Anyways let's see how he pushes on now:

That's just Hearn talking **** as usual.

Beating Spence just puts him in line for a unification fight wth either Pac or Thurman/Garcia.

We all agree that the winner has to fight Thurman/Garcia winner for bragging rights. And as someone on this board said , 2 weeks ago brook couldn't get up for Spence. What a sudden change of tune. Funny how Brook got up for the dangerous JO JO Dan.

If boxing were a sport the winners of Garcia vs Thurman and Spence vs Brook would fight.

I'd say the king is either WBO & Lineal champ Pacquiao or WBC/WBA champ Thurman...
