good win for Wilder and boxing to a lesser extent. Let this serve warning to fighters, promoters etc

          per Fat Dan

Wilder (37-0, 36 KOs), 31, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, was due to earn approximately $4.5 million to fight Povetkin. That money remains in an escrow account from before the fight, as does another $715,000 from Ryabinsky's winning purse bid that is with the WBC and was meant as a bonus for the winner of the fight.

Burstein said he expects the judge to release the money, which will be split between Wilder and DiBella, who is out considerable expenses due the cancellation of the fight and legal fees.

They probably won't ever pay him but who cares!
Actually what did him in was the EARLIER 3 tests that cam up negative and then the 4th being a positive... The jury took 30 mins deciding that traces BS excuse. You don't pass, pass, pass, then Fail??? The jury said he took it after it was banned. Which makes sense. He just FKD up on the timing lol.

It was really arrogant and ludicrous of Pedvetkin to waste the courts time.
He should have settled out of court agreed to extra testing and fought Wilder but CLEAN, this time.
But he's a bum and it's telling because he doesn't have the confidence to compete clean on his own merits and not those of a test tube.
All Russian athletes need to be banned they cheated in the olympics they cheat in combat sports and they don't even have the decency to be apologetic when they get caught.
Which to me is the worst crime, because nobody is perfect.
But it compounds the issue when you can't even admit your wrongs.
