Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (48-1-1, 34 KOs) maintains that he has every intention of fighting WBC, IBF, IBO, WBA middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (36-0, 33 KOs) in the fall. The two camps have been in talks for a September 2017 showdown since last year.

Canelo's last ppv sold 290 k, a fight with ggg will do around a mil, but ggg doesn't deserve a ppv cut? Ggg should just call the bluff, take the flat fee but refuse to do any press, promotion, or any 24/7 for the fight since they don't believe his name adds to the ppv sales.

Canelo has the big following of the Mexican population, GGG is the top opponent but not more. But both are no household names.GGG should be happy with the money offered from Golden Boy.He will be surprised how low the PPV numbers are going to be vs Jacobs!

Canelo brings good figures but must understand a flat fee won't work here .Everybody in boxing is waiting for him to grow some balls and fight GGG and it is he that does not deserve all the extra money this fight brings .It is both that bring and both should share.

Still not convince ginger has got the balls ....he should stick with his chinny welterweights.

If GGG really turned down $15 million that's a duck. He doesn't want the fight, he's just trying to cash in a lottery ticket.
