HeroB , i will ask you one thing about the situation , in real life there are choices , do you feel like GGG skipping the 15M (assuming its real) and not doing the fight is a better choice then taking it and pounding Canelo face into the ground ? regardless of the pure math here on who is getting short sticked and who is not , i feel like 15M + stardom is a very good offer , can he make 20M ? maybe , but i dont feel its a fight that will generate him 30M for example , but the risk of giving GBP an out/excuse is risky , do you feel that if GGG stand firm he will get the fight in Sep17 ?
Life aint fair and sometimes you compromise now to get a better future later on , as a big GGG fan i say take the short money now while you can (still great money in a void) , Canelo is far from unebeatable and can lose until GGG can land some leather on him , every delay is another chance for Canelo to lose (or GGG for that matter).
      Have a good one.

      • The Golovkin fans are admitting it's a good offer, but still making excuses for Golovkin if he doesn't take it.

If he doesn't take $15 mil it's a duck. Stop nuthugging for once and see it for what it is.

        • Why boxing fans give a fuk about how much they will get paid, I really don't understand, none of that money will be given to us, we have our own problems and you are paid by fans to entertain them, not to start b11tching about economics. People who make $ 1000-2000 a month go in deep dicsussion about how much these million dollar guys should get paid. Why we even need to care and advocate?

Floyd's not in a ****ed situation like Pacquaio, lol.
Nobody knows what his take is but anyone that thinks it's less than 30% is a fawktard. He is the reason Floyd gets his big paydays. It's a business not a charity

            • People so biased and desperately hateful towards GGG that they apologize and dickride Canelito on this obvious bullshit and ducking GGG for years is just hilarious. Funny how people keep exposing themselves.

The same people claimed a couple months ago that GGG needs to move down in weight because Canelo is a Junior Middleweight and is not ready to fight at 160, while Canelito is now fighting at Supermiddleweight. Canelita taking the negotiations to the media is just prove that he will be ducking GGG again.

Where does Canelo go from here? GGG might get the last belt in June and Canelo will be in a huge desert getting more and more criticism and losing more and more fans, specially fans who know boxing.

Haymon's already made his money; whether it be with his touring business, his TV business, or the other ventures, Haymon was already rich before boxing.

Haymon doesn't work for free, but he's got no incentive to try and gouge anyone out of anything.

Everyone's already seen the template Haymon deal; contract that has a max of 7 years, "best efforts for the fighter", no fee owed on purses under $150k, 15% fee on purses above $150k.

                you played yourself
